Indian River Shores Rv About
For Florida locals seeking an affordable and straightforward living solution with direct access to the state's beautiful waterways, Indian River Shores RV in Micco, Florida, presents an option worth considering. This RV park, which appears to also accommodate single-wide mobile homes, offers a unique opportunity for those who prioritize low lot rent and a connection to the outdoors. While some aspects of the park might be described as "run down" by some, its core appeal lies in its value proposition and its prime location for outdoor enthusiasts, particularly those who enjoy fishing and a quieter, more laid-back community atmosphere.
Indian River Shores RV is a place where residents can truly embrace a more independent and outdoor-focused lifestyle. It’s a community where, for many, the benefits of affordable living and direct access to the Indian River outweigh the desire for luxury amenities or pristine appearances. This article aims to provide a factual and engaging overview of Indian River Shores RV, highlighting its location, the services it offers, its key features for local Floridians, and how to get in touch. We'll delve into why this park might be the perfect fit for those who value affordability, a sense of community, and the simple joys of Florida's natural environment.
Indian River Shores RV is conveniently located at 7400 US-1 lot 14, Micco, FL 32976, USA. For Florida residents, this address places it directly on U.S. Route 1, a major and easily navigable highway that runs parallel to Florida's Atlantic coastline. This offers straightforward access to the park from various parts of the state, simplifying travel for those relocating or seeking a long-term stay. Micco is a less densely populated area compared to Florida's bustling cities, offering a more tranquil setting, yet still providing reasonable access to essential services and attractions.
The park's location on US-1 implies that basic necessities like gas stations, convenience stores, and possibly some local eateries are within a reasonable driving distance. While the immediate surroundings might not offer extensive walkable amenities, the ease of vehicular access to broader services in nearby communities such as Sebastian or Palm Bay would be a significant advantage for residents. This balance allows for a peaceful living environment without being entirely isolated from daily conveniences.
Crucially, the name "Indian River Shores RV" and resident testimonials confirm that the park is "on the river." This is a major highlight, offering direct or very close proximity to the Indian River Lagoon. For Floridians, this means unparalleled access to world-class fishing, boating, and other water-based activities. The ability to simply walk to the river for a day of fishing, as highlighted by one resident, adds immense value for outdoor enthusiasts. The location, therefore, is not just about road access but about lifestyle access, providing a gateway to the aquatic adventures that define much of Florida's East Coast living.

- Access to the Indian River, enabling residents to engage in activities like fishing directly from or very near the park.
- Basic utility hookups for RVs and mobile homes (e.g., electric, water), necessary for comfortable long-term stays, although specific details on sewer hookups for every lot should be verified.
- A community environment where tenants with shared interests, such as fishing and hunting, can connect.
- Maintenance of essential park infrastructure, such as utility connections, even if road conditions or some older units are noted as needing improvement.
- Affordable Lot Rent: This is a primary and highly attractive feature, making Indian River Shores RV a competitive option for Florida locals seeking cost-effective housing solutions, particularly for long-term or permanent residency.

- Personalized Lot Customization: The example of a resident adding pavers and dog kennels indicates a degree of flexibility for residents to personalize their lots, enhancing their living experience.
- Value-Oriented Living: For those who prioritize a low-cost base for enjoying Florida's natural resources over extensive amenities or pristine upkeep, the park offers significant value.
Based on the provided customer reviews for Indian River Shores RV, there is no information available regarding specific promotions or special offers. The primary financial appeal highlighted by a resident is the "cheap lot rent." In a community that appears to prioritize affordability and long-term residency, traditional short-term promotions are less common than consistent, competitive pricing for lot rentals.
Mobile home and RV parks typically operate on a model of month-to-month or annual lot leases. Therefore, the "offer" here is primarily the opportunity to secure an affordable lot in a desirable location with river access. It is unlikely that you would find seasonal discounts or introductory rates in the same way you might at a vacation-oriented RV resort.
For Florida locals interested in Indian River Shores RV, the most important step is to directly contact the park management to confirm the current lot rent rates, any associated fees (such as for utilities or specific services), and the terms of their lease agreements. Understanding these costs upfront is crucial for anyone considering a move to this community, as the main draw is its value-driven pricing structure.

Customer Reviews
This place is very run down. They do have cheap lot rent. Everyone is very nosey and in everyone's business.
My 21-year-old grandson lives in Indian River shores RV. He bought his own single wide with a nice built shed there are pavers on both sides of the home. He has nice kennels for his dogs on one side. The park is on the river and my grandson loves to fish. He also likes to hunt. He is an outdoors person and he is met several good tenants that share his likes. Indian River shores is a nice place to live and it is quiet on the most part. If I had my wish would be that the management would get the road in the park taking care of. And a couple trailers should be taken out of the park. They have been there for a long time and have accumulated a lot of junk.
