Wonderful place. I was on a bike trip and stopped here for the night. I met with Rich at the check-in counter and we did paperwork and payment. Super easy process. The park is beautiful with new buildings, new shower house, nice clubhouse, and it was quiet. Motorcyclists be forewarned: the road surfaces aren’t SUPER fantastic for a bike, so be careful, but they are very bike friendly. I was able to park my bike on my tent site without any problems. About two miles up the street you’ll find the Washington General Store. They will have all of the essentials, and they make a hell of a good pizza. You won’t be stuck in the middle of nowhere with nothing. I can’t wait to go back!
Aug 14, 2025 · Jaret SweetVery nice camping well maintened. Very clean and free hot shower. Nice pool who is also very clean. My lot ( I was with a tent)was very large and they let you burn the wood you find in the wood without any issues. People are very nice and friendly the American way they all say Hi to you while you pass . It’s really not a bad thing but the camping is really small . There is a party by the pool until 11pm and you hear the music like you are in the party everywhere in the camping. The other issue about the fact that is small is if you looking to play (let’s say it that way ) there is not a lot of guys around .Most of them know already everyone in the camping and are more there to spend time between friend then to play (again let’s say it this way). If you are looking for a nice small camping you like having a party and chat with people it’s the place. You will be very well serve . If you want to be quiet and play this is probably not the place for you . To sum up I had a good experience but not a lot of play 🤪
Jul 20, 2025 · Alexandre CoallierBest Gay Campground I've been to they ussaly have shows on the weekend and most sites come with a giant fire pit. Owners are always there and have treated us like faimly . Great Vibes , made tons of friends and had wild nights . For the price you can't beat this place .
Jun 09, 2025 · King GlassSpent the weekend here with my husband and best friend and we loved it. The seasonal campers were so welcoming and friendly. We felt right at home as soon as we pulled up. There is a clear display of respect for people and personal space. Yet at the same time you felt welcome to join others at their camp sites for a fun hang out. Which we did. The pool side social, tractor ride to the lake and potluck was an added bonus. The camp sites are beautiful and well maintained. We had potable water, electricity, fire pit and picnic table. The owners are around working, doing maintenance, prepping for festivities and making sure everyone is having fun and feeling respected. I look forward to going back. No need to debate whether you should check this place out. It's worth it! As far as wood goes. Get it there. Was the better deal we found.
Jul 10, 2017 · Kevin Damphouseit's a nice place and there's a great group of guys that stay there BUT the owner Joe is not a cool person. I think it's may be that he's really insecure so he'll try and run the place like a tyrant. I got the impression that no one really liked him. No one had anything nice to say about him. I was actually told not to make eye contact, lol. So I went to mountainside instead for my next weekend off and found it MUCH better. The owners are very cool and normal. I work too hard for my free time and can't afford to hang around unkind people;) Frank Berthiume Happy Camper
