This place has a lot of amenities. The golfing was great a little old but it was perfect and super fun. The arcade was bigger then I thought it was a blast. Some of the games didn't work with no signs on them, the quarter machines with little toys in them were mainly jammed.. But we still loved it!! The sites in the tent area was pretty good. The sites by the river are close together. Store wasn't opened Monday through Thursday which was a bummer as I wanted to buy some souvenirs. Overall great trip and we will be back again.
Aug 22, 2025 · Jamie BreenI have to start off by saying that if you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful campground- this is not it. We had groups on either side of us who were LOUD, well past “quiet hours”. Screaming kids running around, and loud drunk adults. Drunk to the point where they went to all neighboring sites and invited us all to hang out with them. If I was looking to stay up til midnight, drink, and chitchat, it would have been a blast! But I was a bit disappointed as we were really hoping for a relaxing stay. Staff never seemed to drive by to enforce quiet hours that night. I can see how it can be a great campground to stay at if you’re looking to have some family fun with a large group. While I didn’t use the amenities, they had a rec center with arcade games, a pool, and a little mini golf. Our site was gorgeous since it was right on the river, but the sites were cramped together like sardines. There was absolutely no privacy, especially with the loud groups on either side of us. There was a portapotty nearby which was convenient. They did have a real bathroom and shower, but it’s a bit of a far walk if you’re staying by the river. I would consider staying again if I was in a group, otherwise it’s not worth the trip for the two of us looking to relax and unwind at the end of the week.
Jun 23, 2025 · Kelly ChetwyndPROS 1. Clean, well-kept property - oh wait, it looks like a run-down abandoned campground. 2. Quiet and peaceful - oh wait, with a campsite that was 50 yards from Route 10, there was non-stop traffic. 3. Friendly and helpful staff - oh wait, the place is closed during the week. 4. Plenty of fresh air in the woods of New Hampshire - oh wait, every time a vehicle went by on the road the dust cloud that followed was really lousy. Also the contact high from the amount of marijuana that wafted through the air was an added benefit at no cost. 5. Roomy, well kept sites - oh wait, the roots from the trees were plentiful, and the people next to us were forced to step over our black water hose to sit at their picnic table. 6. Clean Pool and Miniature Golf - oh wait, the pool looks like it last saw a cleaning a year ago and the miniature golf area is overgrown and OLD!! (see photo) CONS: 1. See PROS above.
Aug 27, 2025 · David RichardsThis is a cool little unique campground. From what I understand it’s under new management. The sites down by the river are great however you’re stacked right next to each other so there’s not much privacy. Not a big deal to us as we don’t mind meeting new folks. The river sites were great and very relaxing. The porta potty/outhouse down by the river is not for the faint of heart. I’m hoping this gets addressed soon as it could use a major upgrade. The river sites are down the bottom of the campground so be prepared to walk up if you want to do any activities on the campground. The other bathrooms were in good shape. The pool bathrooms look to be getting an upgrade soon. A lot of arcade games are broken. Pool table is out of order. Most of the kids prizes games didn’t work either. I asked the staff to address this and he just slapped out of order on everything. The mini golf is old and rundown but still functional. The chess game is overgrown with weeds. The pools were in good shape. The fishing pond was fun too. The hike down to the big rock is a cool little hike too. The staff was nice and I’m hoping this campground can get some nice upgrades soon. Overall we may be back because the river sites were so nice. We’re really hoping something can be done for the bathroom down there because that’s really the only reason we’re hesitant on going back.
Jul 15, 2025 · Tommy PelletierWe just stayed there for 3 nights! I do not recommend. We had paid our lock in fee to reserve our site next to family. We arrived to have this site changed without any notification. It was then brought to our attention that they knew about the change due to a “hardship housing situation” and had “sent an e mail”— no e mail OR REFUND was received back in June when the email was apparently sent. the front desk staff called/ was texting her boss, he later arrived with the smell of marijuana. There was no urgency on trying to make this right. I have yet to get a refund and discussed with the store staff multiple times. We then get to our new site and come to find out a HUGE bees nest is above the camper to which “maintenance crews” knew about it and never took care of it. 8it took my husband to take care of it and being stung 12 times. The campground is outdated. The pool is nice. A lot of seasonal campers and not a lot of activities going on for kids. There was a constant smell of sewer at our camping site.
