Introduction / Overview: Finding Your Place in New Hampshire's Twin State Region
For many New Hampshire residents, finding an accessible, affordable, and welcoming place to call home can be a challenge in today's housing market. Pleasant Valley Estates Mobile Home Park, located in Claremont, NH, offers a compelling solution—a dedicated manufactured home community designed for comfortable, local living. This park is more than just a collection of homes; it’s a neighborhood that fosters a sense of community, serving as a primary residential area for families and individuals in the Upper Valley and Sullivan County region.
Pleasant Valley Estates is particularly notable in New Hampshire as it operates as a cooperative or resident-owned community (ROC). This structure means that the park itself is collectively owned and managed by the residents, providing a unique model of stability, security, and resident control over their living environment. This cooperative model encourages neighborhood involvement and ensures that community decisions are made with the best interests of the homeowners in mind, a major advantage for those seeking long-term residential stability. While like any community, the experience can vary, many residents praise its quiet atmosphere, well-maintained appearance, and the courteous, careful nature of their neighbors—especially important in areas where children are present, ensuring a safer environment.
Location and Accessibility: Claremont's Convenient Residential Hub
Pleasant Valley Estates Mobile Home Park is conveniently situated in the historic city of Claremont, a community on the western edge of New Hampshire known as a gateway to both the White Mountains and the attractions of the Upper Valley. The physical address is 14 Fiske Pl, Claremont, NH 03743, USA. This location places residents in Sullivan County, near the Connecticut River border with Vermont.
Claremont itself is a regional hub offering essential services, shopping, and employment opportunities. Residents of Pleasant Valley Estates benefit from easy access to major local routes that connect them quickly to the city’s downtown services, including the local library, stores, and medical facilities. The area’s rural residential zoning contributes to the quiet, landscaped, and level setting of the park. Furthermore, the community’s location provides a manageable commute to larger employment centers and recreational areas in the Upper Valley, such as those near Lebanon and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, making it a viable, affordable option for workers across the region. The proximity to local schools within the Claremont School District (SAU #6) also makes it a practical choice for families with children.

Conclusion: Why This Place is Suitable for New Hampshire Locals
Pleasant Valley Estates Mobile Home Park is uniquely suited for New Hampshire locals, particularly those seeking a stable, affordable, and community-focused residential solution in the Upper Valley region. The most compelling factor is its status as a Resident-Owned Community (ROC). This model empowers residents with ownership and decision-making authority, offering long-term security and protection against the uncertainties of third-party rental management—a critical factor for New Hampshire residents committed to staying in the area.
For young families, the neighborhood's reputation for being quiet, courteous, and careful—a place where people drive slowly due to the presence of children—is an invaluable feature. It offers the financial advantage of owning a home with manageable property taxes and utility costs while maintaining access to all the necessary schools, shopping, and medical facilities of Claremont. While prospective residents should always conduct their own due diligence regarding community rules and management (as experiences can vary), the inherent stability, affordability, and supportive neighborhood atmosphere cultivated at Pleasant Valley Estates make it an excellent and sustainable choice for New Hampshire residents who value community, security, and a peaceful place to raise a family or settle down in the beautiful Sullivan County area.

Pitched as paradise ran like tour a prisoner. You pay property tax under lease but they treat you as if you don't even pay the rent. Poor management I think.need to be restructured
