Went to this place a few times and had a good impression then tried to move my camper here and was told they don’t accept anyone with a felony within 20 years. They also stopped a friend of my from visiting his mother who is a long term resident at night because of a 12 year old non violent or sexual felony. Not a very accepting or family friendly place. And everyone was extremely rude. Me and my family even offered for free to help clean up after the flood and were treated horrible.

Inexpensive. Clean. Convenience store nearby. Free firewood. Quiet place. Camped in a tent last night.right by the river. It was 25 for the night. A great deal. The drive in from the main road takes you from up high, down to the river. A beautiful drive winding down along a creek, with the land ascending on both sides. The campground is spacious and clean. I checked in quickly and was able to pick my tent spot. A very quiet night with a pretty fire made my stay wonderful.

This park has changed over the years used to be a fun place to take your family everybody was friendly. Man has it the shareholders now own it and run it fully and they are the rudest most disrespectful people I would be ashamed of myself to say I was affiliated with this group completely lost mine in my family's business at this park I will make sure that I tell everyone about the horrible experience I had here. Here's a screenshot of the conversation I had with someone in their office. Better not have a record and try to go there

Wonderful place to stay. Tent sites are sparse at only 3 locations but all in all a beautiful location. Located very close to Frankfort & Buffalo trace makes it an ideal spot to camp while visiting the city. The permanent residents we ran into were very friendly & all stopped by & said hello along with their dogs. Only hiccup would be the coyotes that woke us up at 3 am running in the field by the site, followed by the less startling sound of foxes playing at the river & campsite at 4 am. The sites are not electric which is to be excepted since they have had flooding that fried the sites electricity previously. A really nice perk was the large amount of dried free fire wood we were able to use to start a fire in the fire ring. Thank you to the staff running the park, weiland, hope, & baby’s owners who all made the stay very pleasant & helped us find the amenities we needed to make the stay an enjoyable one.

We rented the on site camper and were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the camper. It was well stocked and very clean, everything one might need for a comfortable getaway was there. Just bring groceries. Definitely would do it again.
