While experiences can vary, the allure of being directly on Lake Harris, with easy access to its waters, is a consistent highlight for many visitors. This is a place for those who appreciate the simple pleasures of lakeside living, where the focus is on the environment and the activities it enables, rather than on extensive on-site amenities.

Whether you're an avid angler, a boating enthusiast, or simply someone looking to unwind by the water, the lodge's location and rustic charm make it a compelling choice.
The lodge’s appeal is often tied to its sense of seclusion and connection to the natural landscape. Guests frequently comment on the opportunity for great fishing, a testament to Lake Harris’s reputation as a prime spot for various species. This makes it particularly attractive for Florida residents who enjoy freshwater fishing, as they can readily access one of the state's most productive lake systems right from their accommodation.
While some reviews highlight areas for improvement, the core value of Lake Harris Lodge appears to be its unique waterfront positioning and the potential for an authentic, unpretentious Florida experience. It's a reminder that sometimes the greatest luxury is the ability to disconnect and enjoy the natural environment, right in your own backyard.
This property caters to those who prioritize location and an active outdoor lifestyle. The potential for a real "hidden gem" experience, as one reviewer noted, lies in appreciating the lodge for what it is: a straightforward, lakeside retreat designed for those who love the water and the tranquility it offers. It's an invitation for Floridians to explore the natural beauty of their state from a convenient and scenic base.

Customer Reviews
A true hidden gem!!! Super clean updated cabins. Located waterfront between Banana Cove/Fisherman's Cove and The Hideaway (restaurant on the water). GREAT FISHING!!
The location on the lake was good. Restaurant right next door which was decent. The cabin was not super clean. Had ants and roaches get into food we left out the first night. The bed definitely has seen better days along with most of the furniture. Their docks have also seen better days. It was just a little run down for the price we payed to stay there. Won't go back.
We love this place the location is awesome Harris lake connect to several other lakes, great for boating. Owners are very accommodating.
Great location, especially for those fishing!
This is a really nice and peaceful place. From the dock you can take beautiful pictures of the Lake at different hours of the day. For those staying there are cabins and they have a lovely swimming pool. It is a great place to stay when you are passing by the area and want to stay for a few days to visit places of interest in Lake County.
