Manatee Mobile Home Park About
For many Floridians, finding an affordable place to call home in a desirable area like Bradenton is a key consideration. The concept of mobile home parks often presents a more accessible housing solution compared to traditional single-family homes, allowing residents to enjoy the benefits of Florida living without the higher cost of entry. Manatee Mobile Home Park, situated in the heart of Bradenton, offers one such option for those seeking community living.
Manatee Mobile Home Park serves as a residential community that provides sites for manufactured homes. Unlike many other parks in Florida that cater exclusively to 55+ residents, this park has no age restrictions, making it a potential option for families and individuals of all ages. While reviews can highlight areas for improvement, understanding the factual offerings and environment is essential for anyone considering a move. This article aims to provide a clear and factual overview of Manatee Mobile Home Park, helping Florida locals make an informed decision about this housing choice in Bradenton.
Manatee Mobile Home Park is conveniently located at 2204 Manatee Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34208, USA. This address places it directly on Manatee Avenue East, a significant and well-known thoroughfare in Bradenton. Bradenton is a vibrant city on Florida's Gulf Coast, offering a blend of natural beauty, cultural attractions, and urban conveniences.
The park's location on Manatee Avenue East provides excellent accessibility for residents. This major road connects directly to downtown Bradenton, offering easy access to shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, and professional services. Furthermore, Manatee Avenue E is a key route that can lead to major highways such as US-301 and I-75, providing convenient connections to other parts of Manatee County, Sarasota, and the broader Florida region. This means residents have relatively easy commutes for work, quick trips to grocery stores and retail centers, and straightforward access to medical facilities. The close proximity to the Braden River and the short drive to the Gulf beaches of Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key are also significant advantages, offering abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation, from fishing and boating to simply enjoying Florida's world-famous sunsets. This central and accessible location is a key benefit for individuals and families considering Manatee Mobile Home Park as their home.
Manatee Mobile Home Park primarily offers sites for manufactured homes, providing residents with a place to live within a community setting. While detailed service lists are often available directly from park management, based on available information, we can outline the general services typically provided or inferred:
Mobile Home Lot Rentals: The core service is the provision of land lots for residents to place their manufactured or mobile homes. These lots typically include connections for essential utilities such as electricity, water, and sewer, though residents are usually responsible for their individual utility bills.
Community Pool Access: A key amenity mentioned in reviews is the presence of a "nice sized pool." This indicates that residents have access to a communal swimming pool, which is a valuable feature in Florida's warm climate for recreation and relaxation.
No Age Restrictions: A significant service, or rather a defining characteristic, is that "This place doesn't have any age restrictions." This makes it suitable for individuals and families of all ages, distinguishing it from many 55+ communities in Florida and offering a broader demographic appeal.
Basic Maintenance of Common Areas: While one review negatively critiques the "maintenance men," the presence of a maintenance team suggests a service aimed at upkeep of common areas within the park, such as the pool area and general grounds. The effectiveness of this service, however, varies based on individual experiences.
On-Site Management: The mention of a "mgr" (manager) indicates that there is an on-site management presence responsible for park operations, resident relations, and enforcement of rules, even if some residents express dissatisfaction with management responsiveness.
Parking Facilities: Residents typically have designated or accessible parking near their mobile home units. The specific parking arrangements would be managed by the park.
Manatee Mobile Home Park, while presenting a mix of feedback, does offer several factual features and highlights that might appeal to prospective residents, particularly Florida locals seeking specific living arrangements:
No Age Restriction: This is a significant highlight, as it opens up the community to individuals and families of all ages, including those with children attending school. In a state with many 55+ communities, this provides a more inclusive residential option.
Convenient Bradenton Location: Situated on Manatee Avenue East, the park benefits from a central Bradenton location. This offers easy access to major roads, local amenities, shopping centers, dining options, and public services, which is valuable for daily living and commuting.
On-Site Swimming Pool: The presence of a "nice sized pool" is a definite amenity, providing residents with an accessible option for recreation, exercise, and cooling off during Florida's warm weather without having to leave the park. This is a common and highly desired feature in Florida communities.
Affordable Housing Potential: Mobile home parks generally offer a more affordable housing alternative compared to traditional stick-built homes in Florida. This can be a key advantage for individuals and families looking for cost-effective living solutions in the Bradenton area.
Access to Public Transportation & Local Services: Being on a main avenue, it's likely that public transportation routes are nearby, enhancing accessibility for residents who may rely on it. Its position also means quick access to essential services like the Food Bank of Manatee, which occasionally uses this location for distributions, indicating its integration into the local community network.
It is important for prospective residents to understand that while these features exist, community experience can vary. Direct inquiry about rules and a visit to observe the environment would be beneficial for those considering Manatee Mobile Home Park.

Customer Reviews
The people here don't have ANY respect for their neighbors. Just this morning, someone was blowing their horn over and over and over at 3 am. Just holding it down while driving. Not a care for anyone who might be working today. The same with the music. Not caring if kids have to sleep for school. The mgr doesn't care. The maintenance men act just as trashy. This place doesn't have any age restrictions though. There is a nice sized pool.
My cousins are moving from this hellhole and it’s a living hell. Dirty and old, everyone there is trying to get out of the trenches. It’s not a park it’s a poor neighbourhood idk why it’s called that
It’s trash but it’s home
This place is a dump there are cats & dogs everywhere pooping in your drive way kids are always on the road. Loud music is allowed here All Night...there are no parking spaces for visitors so they need to park on the road...theres a fenced place were people constantly leave gross dirty mattresses, sofas & other furniture that kids will then play on they should build a playground or something to keep these kids out of the roads & not on someone's peed on bed not to mention the "maintenance guys" who just drive around the hood they are useless. Only move here if it's your absolute last option it is quiet in the daytime & there is a pool
