Promotions or Special Offers

As a non-profit Bible camp and retreat center, Lake Helen Bible Camp's "promotions" typically focus on their mission-driven programming and special events rather than commercial discounts. While specific public "special offers" on pricing might not be regularly advertised in the same way a commercial campground would, groups can expect the following considerations:

  • Flexible Group Pricing: Pricing for group rentals is usually determined based on the size of the group, duration of stay, and specific facilities required (e.g., use of dining hall, chapel, specific lodges/cabins). Direct inquiry is the best way to get a tailored quote for your group's needs.

  • Seasonal Availability and Programming: The camp offers year-round facilities, which in itself is a benefit, allowing groups to choose seasons that might be less busy or offer specific activities (e.g., fall colors, winter retreats). They host various scheduled events throughout the year for different groups, such as men's retreats, leadership retreats, youth groups, and specific camps (e.g., Camp Daniel weeks, Hmong Reformed Youth). Booking your group into one of these existing programs or during off-peak times might align with specific budget or availability needs.

  • Value for Comprehensive Facilities: The "value" offered is in the comprehensive nature of the facilities – including a dining hall, chapel, multiple lodging options, recreational areas, and lake access – which are often included or packaged for group rentals. This can be more cost-effective than renting individual cabins or sites at separate locations that don't offer such integrated amenities.

  • Focus on Mission: The camp's primary focus is providing a Christian camping experience. While not a "promotion," their mission of spiritual growth and community building might align with the values of many groups, offering an intangible benefit beyond just lodging costs.

For the most accurate and current information on booking group stays, pricing, and any specific offerings that align with your group's needs, it is highly recommended to contact Lake Helen Bible Camp directly. Their staff are best equipped to discuss available dates, facility usage, and any flexible arrangements they can make to accommodate your group.

We come every year. Our family enjoys the use of the facilities...mincluding a dining hall, chapel, big barn (basketball), the lake, lakehouse, and lodge! The owners are nice to work with too.

One of the quilting groups I belong to has been going there twice a year for over 10 years. There's only about a dozen of us, but it's perfect for that size. We each have our own table. We're in charge of our own food, so we split up meal duty between breakfast and dinner and everyone brings snacks. Their main building is also where we sleep and eat. If we need a full size oven there's one we can use in the main dining hall, otherwise the warming kitchen has a toaster oven that's big enough for the family size Stouffer's lasagna pan and a huge microwave that has several cooking options. The extra bonus of their lodge is that it has a wood fireplace to relax in front of.

This is a really nice place for any type of church camps/retreats. Some of the cabins could use a little work and freshening up, but a great place otherwise.
