Absolutely love this campground! Off the beaten path, so no loud traffic. The big rig hook ups towards the front of the campground are as level as you could get. The bathhouse was clean. Staff were super nice and helpful. WiFi was pretty decent for the mountains. And the whole reason we came, the pool, was amazing! Our 7 month old had the time of his life! Will definitely be coming back, hopefully soon!

Disappointed by New Ownership and Excessive Rules We’ve been coming to this campground for years and always enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and friendly vibe. Unfortunately, our recent visit under the new ownership was a completely different experience. The new owners have implemented a laundry list of rules that go well beyond reasonable expectations for a family campground. We understand the need for order and respect for others, but the strict enforcement felt more like staying at a military base than a relaxing getaway. We saw several fellow campers getting warned for minor infractions, and the owners seemed to patrol constantly rather than interact in a friendly or welcoming way. The charm and laid-back feel this place once had is gone. It’s clear the focus is now on rigid control rather than hospitality. Sadly, we won’t be returning unless things change. There are plenty of other campgrounds that manage to keep things clean and respectful without making guests feel like they’re under surveillance.

Once a beloved place by my family, after the experience we’ve had this year we will not return again. New ownership from previous years past. Staff are rude, plus they constantly patrol you which makes you feel like you’re being watched at all times. Can’t have any friends you’ve made over the weekend over to your campsite, staff will tell you, your only allowed as many people that are in your party on your area, plus is you have friends or family coming to visit for the day, they don’t sell day passes anymore and will tell people to leave just for 30 minutes later to get an email about being banned. Kids can’t be kids, if you have an electric scooter they will tell you, you cannot use it at all but when people are speeding out of the site they won’t say anything. Sites are overpriced with nothing worth the money or time for your kids to do anything. If you have a bigger family you are only allowed to have two cars at a site. Golf carts hardly work, and show years of wear and tear, most can barely make it up a hill whether it’s 2 people or more on it even if it’s fully charged. WiFi hardly works even when you pay for it. Simply put if you’ve came in the past, it’s no longer the same as previous trips, vibes are different, it’s overpriced, no activities for your family.
