Customer Reviews
My wife and I started to live here before the new ownership took possession of the property. We had a small rv so the owner at that time told us that we could build a shed and run a 1/3 size washing machine in it. The previous owner was great. When the new ownership took over all of the residents started to talk about how terrible it is. Their names are Grady or is it Greedy, and he is married to a very unpleasant person named Rebecca whose name should be Karen. If you are a person of color I hope your experience is not like mine because the wife, who tells everyone she's a lawyer but is only a paralegal, treated me rudely as though I was hired help even though I was a paying customer. This year my wife and I had to go out of state to deal with her father's murder. While we were away we got a nasty text because either Greedy or Karen must have creeped onto our lot and taken photos of the shed, and sent us a nasty text message that we are in violation and subject to a fine. They demanded that we remove the previously agreed upon tiny laundry machine. We live in a 15 foot camper and we barely use any water. Keep in mind my wife's father had just been murdered. I tried to explain to whoever was texting us that we were dealing with a death in the family. They demanded we have it removed immediately although we were out of state. We told them that we had an agreement with the previous owners upon moving in and that is exactly why we chose that lot. Apparently when the new ownership took over they snuck in a lot of fine print. I have discussed this with many of the tenants and most of them are not happy and just ready to leave. I replied that I would be writing a google review to tell everybody about our experience and tell people to look elsewhere. They *threatened* us that if we did that they would tell all of their rv landlord buddies and have us blacklisted from every property in the area. Jokes on them, we're moving out of state. As I drive away we just asked for our $100 deposit which we paid upon moving in and they are refusing to provide it. Stay away from Greedy and Karen. They will also try to get you to move to their other property called the rusted rail which was decimated by a windstorm, not safe, but they want to profit off of the laundry facilities there. Update: after writing this review I saw that the owner replied to it rudely and unprofessionally and have since taken their reply down likely due to self-incriminating statements In addition, after my review they sent more nasty texts inventing reasons to fine us. Just like other reviews have stated. Nope not valid. I have photos and screenshots of text messages to share if it becomes required. Nope, not today satan! Or any day!
I've stayed here at Lakeside from February 2023 to June 2023. It's been wonderful and peaceful. My neighbors are kind and welcoming. I was lucky enough to be on the pond. Everyday I wall along the pasture that is next to the patk and recently we have two new calves. I've got to watch ducklings grow up and all sorts of birds visit us. The owners are quick to be on-site if any issues arise.
This location was quite a nice surprise. It was really quiet, private & there were interesting views of sunrise with open fields, neatly stacked rocks along the lake shoreline & I'm sure more as I only had a quick visit there. No problems with sewer or electric hookup. All residents & visitors peaceful & respectful
Very well maintained. Neighbors are very nice. Nice size catfish in the stocked ponds. We plan on staying here for quite some time.
I parked her in Nov. 2023. Upon move in no one met me on arrival. I had to park my camper in a space with only one plug that was almost buried in the ground. They said that was the only 30 Amp they had. Never once did I ever meet park manager in 8 months of being there. They have no amenities at all. My camper froze last winter and I wasn't able to stay there. The park owner would not move me to another slip. I asked for compensation instead they asked to move because of comments I made about the service provided. Service hardly adequate!! Management/Owner has no regard for his guest needs.
