Only stayed overnight. The lots had full hookups with 50 amps. The gravel lots were clean, and the park was near a hwy. The staff was very nice. Even came by right before we left to thank us for stopping in and wishing us safe travels. I saw they had ice. I didn't check out the bathrooms. At the time of our stay, it was $50.00 for an overnight stay.
Apr 06, 2025 · BG HarrisWe were on our way to Alabama to visit family. We tried to stop at a Loves truck stop to rest. It was completely full. We looked for the next rest area and couldnt find one. We happened to see a sign off the freeway Lakeside RV park. We pulled in, called the number on the sign for service, as you drive in. A kind man answered and said they had a spot for our. 40" RV with toe behind. We paid over the phone, right then, and took a big pull thru spot. He said his parents were the owners, they were out to dinner and when they got back, they would check in with us,to see if we needed anything. They did! Such a nice couple. We were outside videoing fire flies! Never seen before. They talked to us for a bit, welcomed us, went on their way. It is a great place to stop and a pretty area. Lot of permanent residents, but some really nice pull thru spots perfect for overnight travelers too.
Jun 06, 2025 · Christi LairdStayed two nights. The overnight area is neat and sites are big enough. It is very close to highway, so there is a good bit of road noise. I don't know why it's called Lakeside as there isn't a lake. Deceiving. Children's playground is in unsafe condition. Read all the reviews.
Apr 05, 2025 · Jeanne WardThe staff are very kind and helpful. We had a ton of space while here because we were in the newer constructed side of the campground. Very much still working on it but has a lot of potential. Seems like a lot of full-timers live there. Location isn’t great on the outer ring of the campground due to the highway noise, very close. Aside from that, great spot. Propane is elsewhere, but they do pick up trash.
Jun 10, 2024 · Britnie WagnerWe love this place very comfortable and safe. We love Butch and Betty. Everyone here are friendly and helpful. Love it when we all sit beside the fire and talk and get to meet some of the people that stay here.
