Stopped here to camp during my bike packing tour ride from NYC to Montreal. The lady who took me to my camp spot was very nice, and along with the price for the night, I had access to water and a hot shower which felt like heaven after 90 or so miles on the road. 100% recommend to any cyclist going through the Empire State Trail. It's just off the road, so you don't have to get off the trail by any miles.

Aug 12, 2025 · sue burnsI do not recommend this campsite for it Is undesirable, dysfunctional and a health Hazzard. We rented a seasonal site for 1542.00. Also a 100 electric deposit. We were told it was an additional 200 by the new owner for he was putting in sewage hookups. There were no sewage hookups. Garbage was 2 to 5 bucks a bag and it was a run around , we ended up driving around for three days looking for management to take it. There was No one certified to fill propane. No playground for the children. Pot smokers all around the children. We were totally smoked out with #68 burning plastic for three days. Spoke to him it was illegal. He did it anyway. Spoke to management and management attacked us. Camp#68washed his dishes in our camp ,did his dog duty where he please and walked around with his Crack exposed to everyone. We left. Asked the new owner for only the remaining of our electric deposit and he attacked us also and we have yet to see our refund.your expected to bring your own lawn mower. No campfires after 9pm. It floods . Beware one nighters their electric hookups didn't work and you have to resort to your own generator.
