Langley Mobile Home Village About

For many Virginians, navigating the housing market can be a challenge, particularly when seeking affordable options that don't compromise on location or convenience. In the vibrant city of Hampton, mobile home parks often present a unique and accessible solution. These communities offer manufactured homes, which have significantly advanced in design and comfort, providing a distinct pathway to homeownership or long-term rental that differs from traditional houses or apartments. Embracing mobile home living means finding a balance between cost-effectiveness and a sense of community.

Virginia's legal landscape for manufactured home communities is shaped by the Virginia Manufactured Home Lot Rental Act. This important legislation helps define the rights and responsibilities of both residents and park management, covering aspects such as lot rental agreements, park rules, and procedures. Understanding this framework is essential for prospective residents, as it provides a degree of transparency and helps ensure a structured living environment within these communities.

Langley Mobile Home Village, situated in Hampton, VA, is one such community that serves a segment of the local housing market. While public reviews present a mixed perspective, they highlight both potential challenges and certain advantages of living in the park. This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and informative overview of Langley Mobile Home Village, drawing on available public information and general insights into mobile home park living in Virginia, to help local Virginians decide if this community aligns with their needs.

Langley Mobile Home Village is conveniently located at 2 Collier Dr, Hampton, VA 23666, USA. This address places the community squarely within Hampton, a city celebrated for its rich history, significant military presence, and dynamic urban landscape within the broader Hampton Roads metropolitan area. Collier Drive offers residents practical access to main thoroughfares, facilitating straightforward commutes and connections.

A significant advantage of this location is its immediate proximity to key landmarks and services. The community is notably close to Langley Air Force Base, which is a major employer and a central hub of activity in the area. This makes Langley Mobile Home Village a particularly attractive option for military personnel and their families, as well as individuals working in support roles for the base. Furthermore, the park is situated near major roads, providing efficient access to Interstate 64, which is the primary artery for travel throughout the Hampton Roads region, connecting residents to Newport News, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and other surrounding cities. This connectivity ensures that residents have convenient access to a wide array of employment opportunities, educational institutions, shopping centers like Peninsula Town Center, diverse dining options, and recreational facilities, simplifying daily errands and enhancing leisure activities.

The park manager is a tyrant. Selective on property enforcement. Over bills fees. I'm my opinion they are running out long standing Tennants In dubious ways

This is my home and I am really pleased with it. Really nice and Definitely not dumpy like other mobile home parks! You get your own personal air show because the Airforce base is across the street as well as NASA. Also, Langley Speedway is right next door.

The office manager Pharisee put a note on my door threatening that she'd charge me100.00 dollars to have someone mow my grass if I didn't have it mowed in 48 hours. I mentioned the cost was higher than usual, but she charged the fee anyways. The following month she charged me 130.00 to have someone mow my grass. She told me directly that she decides what the mow fee is. She shows little compassion on the residents out here.
