Customer Reviews
Very friendly and kind campground owners. We had originally planned for a 2 night stay but had to modify to only 1 night due to our truck breakdown. They were very accommodating and kept excellent communications with us. Be aware the campground is on quite a steep slope hill however the pull through site we had (#2) was fine and long enough for our 60 ft combined length. All hook ups worked fine. You certainly can walk across the street to the museum as well which is handy. Not much else in the town that we could see when driving through. ( BTW-museum parking lots are not very RV friendly unless a small class B). We did not use any of the campground facilities, but did note that there appears to be quite a lot of long term RVs in this small park.
The camp ground was older but Mark and Cheryl were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the pull through spots. I would like to go back and explore the area.
Stayed overnight in a 32' motorhome. Nice park. hosts were wonderful Would stay here again.
Nice rv park with the best owners. This is our second time staying here, last time was about 5 years ago. Both times now we booked for 1 night only but then something came up, last time my husband injured his back and was down for a couple days and this time severe storms are coming and going to be worse where we were headed so we decided we should probably stay put for the night. The owners both times were very accommodating. If you need anything all you have to do is ask. Next time we are passing through and need a place to stop we will be staying here again.
We were pleasantly surprised by this campground! There’s a really nice green space in the middle of the park and the tent sites back right up to it-lots of room to run and play! The bathrooms were in great condition and looked to be recently remodeled. Great, warm showers. Our hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. We stayed at the end of October and it was nice and quiet and the temperature was perfect with very few bugs. Right across the street from the Laura Ingalls Wilder home & museum.
