This very quiet park features lots of deciduous trees with a large open area and average sized sites with gravel pads. We visited for 3 nights mid-week and most of the units appeared unoccupied. I assume they are seasonals/permanents and used more on the weekends. In one area they looked like people working in the area in the short term, which is common. The bathhouse is dated and institutional but has been upgraded with tile floors and is functional and reasonably clean but stained with age. There is a pond by the lower level that I think you can swim in but otherwise no playground or other kid oriented equipment that I noticed. Sites are all water/electric with a dump site and free use of a “honey bucket” cart to empty your tanks. The downside to this location is you must drive about 2 miles on good gravel roads that are very dusty. Your vehicle will be very dirty. The Wifi worked pretty well. Propane refills are available.

Stayed there over this last summer & fall it was very quiet unless the people that run it had a party across the road. We were on the upper level and the bathrooms were never very clean even though they said they clean once a week and all we ever see them do is sweep and pour bleach on the floor. Has a nice gazebo until you get close to it then it's falling apart and during summer they had wasp nest in them and even around the bathrooms. Mens bathroom door is super hard to open and close. Both mens and women's bathrooms have curtains has a stall door which I don't think have ever been cleaned. There was a small ball of toilet paper on they wall in a stall the entire time we were there and showers are gross leaky and rusty faucets. Also don't have sewer hook ups so they let you borrow rolling tanks and hoses that people don't care about to dump your tank. I figured as much money as they bring in a month they could atleast upgrade or clean the place up good i won't stay there again. The walking paths and woods are tick infested as well

We stumbled on this place looking for somewhere to stay during state high school track meet. Somehow, there were vacancies over Memorial Day weekend! There seems to be a lot of seasonal or long term tenants, and everyone was very friendly. We loved the paths to & around the small reservoir. We didn’t need them, but the honey wagons on site are a huge convenience. If you stay in one of the south side (SS#) sites, be aware that many of the water spigots are across the road & were too far for our hose. This won’t be a problem if you fill your tanks before you settle in…. Like I should have… The WiFi doesn’t reach the SS sites, but the cell service was good enough to stream music, a ballgame, or a late night movie. This place is really great & has a lot of charm. We will definitely be back when we come to Wichita again.

We stayed one night. We did not mind the dirt road getting there. The lady who helped us yesterday (11/13/22) was very nice. My husband tows the 5th wheel and I follow along in my truck towing our 16' cargo trailer. The lady was not only able to squeeze our rig in (41') but she also had a spot right beside us for my truck and trailer. Not sure if the lady we paid on the way out was the same lady but she too was very nice.

The park it’s self has a lot of potential. To many people live there full time and don’t have the best or no where near new equipment. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, our travel trailer isn’t in anyway new. Over the 10 year mark. I feel permanent residents should be off to there own area especially if there equipment looks run down. Did’t see all of it until we were leaving, in fact we left a day early. One that we paid for because of illness on the 4th of July. It looked like they were having a big get together in the main office. Wish I could’ve stayed and partied with the folks. But NO! That didn’t work out quite like I expected. They offered no refund and I didn’t ask. Prices were reasonably good so it wasn’t a big loss.
