Lots of amenities! The staff was VERY friendly, especially Kathy. The first night our neighbors were loud till 1:30am, we mentioned it to the staff the next day and they addressed it, never had that issue again. Hot tub had decent amount of sand in it on the floor but was still enjoyable. Waterslide was a lot of fun for all ages. The carnival for Labor Day weekend was super fun for the kids, I appreciate all the work they put into it. We got a full hook up site, and the site was huge!!! There are a lot of golf carts whizzing by so be mindful of that, otherwise we absolutely plan on going back next year. My one wish is that the amenities had longer hours. The bounce pad/ pools/ high ropes were limited hours I felt could have been open longer.
Sep 01, 2025 · Jennifer HerrickI can’t express how impressed I am with this location. My wife and I have seven children all together. We stayed here the first time in tents, then immediately upgraded to an RV, experiencing this location on both ends of the spectrum. The amenities keep my kids entertained all day long. There are multiple families regularly with dogs and children, allowing my kids to make friends. The atmosphere is friendly, family oriented, and fun for all of us. The staff are regularly available and drive through the sites cleaning and maintaining regularly. Friendly and knowledgeable would be an understatement. Our most recent stay there was an issue. The management handled it with care and quickly. I can’t express how impressed I am with this location. We are thinking seasonal and I’m pretty sure this last stay is going to seal the deal.
Jun 22, 2025 · Robert EnglishWhat a great trip we had this past week. Cabin was fantastic. All linens and towels were there. Cabin was clean. Air conditioning was on when we arrived. Golf cart rental fantastic water was a little low in the river, but still had fun. Would definitely recommend for a week long trip or longer.
Aug 15, 2025 · Maria StearnsThis was our first time staying at the KOA in Lebanon. We stayed 5 nights in our RV. They have some nice spots that are wide or long but they also have a lot of small spots near the river that seem too close together. The benefits of this campground is you feel like you are in the woods camping not on a parking lot. But with that the roads are very dirty and bumpy and lots of tree sap and very dark at night. Bring old shoes for the family and lots of flashlights for kids and dog walking. We loved that the staff did not harass the kids like some campgrounds do. Kids could ride with no helmets or take a spin in a golf cart without being yelled at like some campgrounds go over board on the rules. Remember to bring your own tubes for the river and make sure river is high when you go. We had a two foot river so no fun on tubes for us. I like that this campground is active and up till 11pm and not asleep like old folks at dusk. Lots of roads to walk the dogs but they need to add trash cans and dog waste bins in multiple places throughout the campground. We also noticed that the bathrooms were always busy and had to wait for showers and had no AC or air flow so couldn't get ready in the bathrooms because too muggy and dirty. We would have liked to have cable and wifi just for the morning news and evening TV before bedtime maybe they can add wifi at least for their peak season. Over all we had a great experience at this KOA and it was nice to be in the dark woods and watch the river during the daytime. I wish the store had a food vendor that made hot meals because my teens would have easily spent $100 or more in 5 days on that. Large campgrounds like this one should have a cafe or food vendor set up for peak hours and season.
Aug 18, 2025 · L. T. ForwardMy husband and I and our dog Vinny just stayed at the KOA on Salmon River in Lebenon, ME. Such a nice site. They have everything you might want or need. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The whole campground was neat, super clean and well organized. The amenities were massive and wonderful. We went in September and had a lot of room to roam. A huge winding slide drops off into the pool, so cute. There was a groovy hot tub. There was such a fun water play land for the kids. There was mini golf and a rope climbing course so much to do. We saw a movie house there is an arcade we did not see and laundry facilities. We will definitely go back again. Next time with kids. Oh yes the camp ground is hugged by a cool river with tubing right there. We got an rv site with a patio and nice fire ring, table 4 chairs and an extra picnic table. Most of the patio sites had double rockers which I would have loved. Next time. So many ways to stay, cabins, with and without plumbing, tents, rvs. You can bring your own tent or rv too. Just a great place.
