This should be 4.75 stars, really. Would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the site being so uneven. It was very sloped where the hookups were located, and it was impossible with our current supplies for us to get level in our 42' triple axel. Couldn't get out of the pull through site, either, and had to back out due to the roads being super narrow and a post being right where you'd cut your turn out, We're just too big. Other than that, the site was enormous, felt secluded, and the park was extremely well kept, beautiful, with nice hiking trails. We were only there a couple of nights, so we couldn't enjoy everything, but a must do if you want to visit D.C. The Metro picks up a short drive away and is an easy straight shot to the city.

Super clean and friendly spot. The bathrooms are way cleaner than I expected and the camp store is really cute and has everything you need in case you forget it. This will definitely be my family's go-to local spot to camp over a weekend.

Great place for camping with young kids. Camp grounds were spacious and bathrooms were clean. Just watch out for the poison ivy!
