Neighbors of London Manufactured Home Community, located in London, KY, is one option for individuals and families seeking housing in the region. This article aims to provide a factual overview of what potential residents might expect, drawing from publicly available information and community feedback.

Manufactured home communities often present an alternative to traditional housing, offering a different ownership model where residents typically own their home but rent the land it sits on. This can sometimes lead to unique considerations regarding community management, shared amenities, and changes to living costs. As with any housing decision, a thorough understanding of the community's specific environment and resident experiences is key.

Recent feedback from residents of Neighbors of London Manufactured Home Community highlights some significant areas for consideration. One long-term resident noted concerns about security, stating, "Stuff gets stolen from everyone's house on a regular basis," and suggesting a need for "security patrol." This feedback points to potential challenges regarding the safety and security within the community, which is a crucial aspect for any resident.

Another point raised by residents pertains to rent increases. One review mentioned, "raised lot rent a total of $150 within 2 years," which can represent a substantial increase in living expenses for many. This resident also expressed disappointment regarding promised amenities, specifically a "park for kids," which was cited as a reason for a price hike but reportedly remains unbuilt a year later, with existing recreational equipment like "basketball goals... useless laying on the ground." This feedback indicates potential discrepancies between advertised plans and actual community development, which is important for prospective residents to be aware of.

Further concerns raised include observations of "drug users running rampant," contributing to a perception of increased crime within the community. The overall sentiment from this resident was a strong "10 of 10 don't recommend," describing the community as "basically redneck HOA." While this represents one perspective, it underscores areas of concern that future residents should investigate and discuss with management before making a commitment.

It is important for any interested parties to conduct their own due diligence, visit the community, speak with current residents, and directly address any concerns with the management to ensure that the community aligns with their expectations and needs. Understanding the realities of a manufactured home park, including its rules, management practices, and current resident experiences, is vital for a positive living situation.

Stuff gets stolen from everyone's house on a regular basis, raised lot rent a total of $150 within 2 years, promised park for kids reason for 1 of price hikes. I dont even have kids and there is still no park a year later and both basket ball goals are useless laying on the ground but plenty of money for new trailers to go in and charge $1100 a month for a single wide. Drug users running rampant obviously need security patrol for how many crimes are being committed. Homes of london are basically redneck hoa 10 of 10 dont recommend.
