Customer Reviews
I stayed at New Adventure RV park while cycling cross country. I had called ahead and they had thoughtfully made a nice spot for me to set up my tent that was shaded. Missan greeted me and showed me around. The park has great amenities; showers, laundry, a little store, lawn games, and hammocks. It was very clean and quiet. I had a restful night!
The owner is the nicest guy ever, very accommodating and compassionate. The set up is gorgeous, the trails amd the recreation area kept our kids entertained the entire time we were there. He responds quickly to concerns, and acts with genuine empathy. 10/10 recommended
If i could put a negative on the stars now i would. This park has gone downhill ever since missan has owned it. The driveway that was suppose to have limestone on it, is just only small rocks. The guy who did the driveway and empty spots didn't know what he was doing. On top of all of that you have a drug dealer who lives there and the guy who so calls build stuff around the park which is good friends with the dealer doesnt have the slightest clue what he is doing. Been here since the original owners that built the park, wish they were here now. They would not let this trash into the park ever. Especially the so called maintenace guy who wants people to bring their broke down vehicles to him so he can so call work on them. But he doesn't have a clue what he is doing. This is a RV PARK not an auto mechanics shop. The owner doesn't know what the hell he is doing, never owned a rv park at all. All he cares about is the stupid garden and puts more time into that than anything else into making the park nice. It is not a very nice RV PARK anymore unless you like that.....
This past weekend we stayed at New Adventures and it was great! Bridgette was very nice and went around talking to everyone and even gave me and my Husband a little bag of complimentary treats for our dogs. She was very accommodating as well and made sure my parents had a spot right next to ours. The WIFI worked great and there is even a complimentary bundle of fire wood for you to use which came in handy because it got really cold. The site was well kept and clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Would Recommend to anyone going to the Sam Houston National Forest area!
I had someone tried to open my door in the middle of the night. The guy that mows ended up breaking my sewer hose. I have the owner trying to charge me more money for a whole fifteen days that I didn't stay there. After I told him that I was in fear of my for my life. I do not recommend this place for anybody.
