Nicely maintained park. Convenient location. Has some drainage issues down in back.
Apr 22, 2025 · Pete HansPoorly maintained roads. Refuse to put in speed bumps to slow people down who fly in and out. Were basically contaminaing the residents with chemicals in the water and were forced to build a whole new well system. CONSTANTLY having septic companies to track down leaks from the newly installed pipes. Had no qualms with construction companies blocking resident vehicles in with heavy equipment.
Feb 02, 2023 · David HutchensI've lived here several years, & things have gradually declined, despite attempted repairs by the park. From day one, there have been endless water issues. Periodically the water has smelled like rotten eggs, and other times smelled fine. Water pressure is terrible almost all the time. There were times they've stated they reduced the pressure to reduce water usage because the well pumps couldn't handle it. The solution, then, should be to upgrade the pumps to handle the number of trailers in the park. Currently, the well that services the homes...is not drinkable. It has pfoa & pfas contamination, with one being 7 times the state limit. Someone went door to door with handouts with the testing info, & told us not to drink it, & that it would hopefully "only" take 4-6wks to fix. Supposedly the other well, which doesn't supply to the homes, is drinkable & everyone can fill bottles from that spigot. What I want to know is how long was the water contaminated for, while everyone was drinking it? How often was testing being done? Those are considered "forever" chemicals, because they just build up in the body without being flushed out, & cause all sorts of problems, especially for fetal & infant development. The only affordable filtration system that will filter those out is reverse osmosis systems, which are $200+. You can't boil the water with that contaminant either, because it just concentrates the chemicals. On top of the water problems, there were sewage issues. It took them a couple years to dig up & replace that system (and they didn't finish the entire park yet either), and they only fully repaved part of the main road in. The rest that got dug up...are still just uneven patches of pavement in the strips where the road got dug up. I've seen kids rip up chunks of pavement along the edge & toss them into the road. Our lawn got dug up from a trailer being torn down. While tearing it down, during roof removal, they were just tossing all the nails onto the ground. Considering it's a lawn with kids around, & cars are expected to park on lawns in winter, we weren't happy. Not to mention just having part of our lawn torn up still as spring & summer arrive, so kids have less safely usable lawn. The neighbors are great & look out for each other, but with all the issues with the park itself, more people are gradually moving out & not being replaced very quick (or at all) with new residents. As far as landlords...a good chunk of the trailers are rented out by the park, with the rest being rented by a few common landlords (as I understand it), & actual owners. If you have mail sent there... good luck receiving it. I have frequently been given other lots mail instead of my own, despite having a label in our box with our names. And there's no guarantee you'll ever get your mail if it was put in another trailer's box. Yet if you confront the mailman, he claims he doesn't make mistakes. We know when we're missing mail thanks to USPS informed delivery. Delivery drivers frequently get confused because there's no map of the park posted anywhere...& house numbers don't follow a typical pattern. Things they could do to make the park better? ...hire a snow removal service in the winter, fix the roads, fix the street lights, make sure all the cameras work, put in a playground (at the very least) & basketball court for all the kids so they stop playing in the streets so much, upgrade the wells, have a roll-off available once per season, & stop frequently pulling the "we will evict you" card for every little thing when there are so many issues needing to be addressed.
Jun 10, 2021 · Lisa HathawayRoads are horrible, cats run rampant through the park destroying your cars paint with scratch marks and digging up flowers, every other week there is a water leak or sewage drainage problem. If you try to complain park management will threaten to evict you. Stay as far away from this place as possible. For the most part neighbors and other tenants are decent and friendly, about the only upside.
Aug 12, 2020 · Jack StrohThey mangers are sneaky. They will violate any tenants rights that they don't want living here. They supposedly receive complaints that never get passed to the tenants so the problems can be fixed, they will disqualify a tenant for a new lease without giving them the chance to rectify the problem that is keeping them from getting the new lease. If they have to do work on your lot, they blame you for the problem, and then never fix the yard itself. They don't hold themselves accountable for the condition of the vacant lots. The main water pipes are breaking and falling apart in one to two places every year.
