Was a amazing vibrant elderly community. Now, because of endless price hikes on retired citizens, 1 out of 5 homes are for sale. Little to no smiles from residents. Grass is dead everywhere and brown because people don't care anymore. So sad to see what's been done here due to greed.

Aug 30, 2017 · Jennifer McCarthyThey keep raising the rent but don't add anything to offset the price. They have issues with water pipes breaking and having to turn off the water and then a 3 day boil water in effect.
Apr 25, 2025 · Beth EspositoMy Grandparents lived here in the winters starting in the early 80s, Every year we flew to visit from Maine in February, for a very long time, until 2000s when they moved with us and have passed to heaven, but I can say some of my best childhood memories were in this place and nearby! Mostly, the people were very nice, I feel ok writing this because nothing really changes in the 20+ years I came here, it was very quiet, the pool absolutely amazing, I remember our limit with me as a kid staying here was 2 weeks, so though people were nice to me it's not a place for kids long term, which probably would be an attractive thing for many residents. Quiet, peaceful, everyone loved living there, tons of activities for older people not so much kids but also the crime rate had to be zero, some people live here seasonal and some year round. Everything you could ever need is within walking distance and I'm sure even moreso now!. I really miss this place and my Grandparents, if they didn't need help eventually with things they planned to stay there forever, and eventually they moved here permanently year round.. Don't freak out if you've never seen alligators before, at one entrance it was common to see them but they never were close to people or bothered anyone, or near actual homes. If you can find a place affordable for you and are 55 and older this is a great place to live!
Jan 15, 2024 · John HawkinsWhat a wonderful place to live this would be. The residents truly enjoy their homes and it shows. Every one is kept up nicely...the pride is there! So peaceful and clean. Office staff are very friendly and helpful.
