Good fishing camping seems good no shade tho its very direct light all day there but the canal is weedy but full of fish

Great location close to to manistee. Boat launch.free if camping ($2 /day) if just visiting. Close to the channel leading to lake Michigan. newly renovated bathroom with showers. Fish cleaning station (clean). Busy around salmon jigging season!!!!

My husband's family has been camping here since he was a kid. We now carry on the tradition and take our child there too! Quiet little campground, clean and nice people. Definitely more of a fisherman's campground but we love it for our whole family too!
