Introduction / Overview

Pineview RV Campground, located in Attalla, Alabama, positions itself as a destination for RVers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in North Alabama. Established in 2000 by Robert and Janice Patterson, the park aimed to be more than just a place to sleep, fostering a sense of community. The campground spans 35 acres, featuring a natural, wooded setting with towering trees and a tranquil lake, offering various lot options including lakeside, pull-through, and shaded sites. According to their official website and several reviews, it provides full hookups for RVs, Wi-Fi, and access to hot showers and laundry facilities in the main office. Positive feedback often highlights the ease of access to the campground, the spacious sites, the presence of beautiful large trees, and a generally quiet atmosphere, making it appealing for travelers. There are also mentions of helpful and friendly staff and owners. However, it is important to acknowledge that some long-term residents have expressed significant concerns regarding management practices, including issues with receipts, a lack of formal lease agreements, and perceived unresponsiveness to tenant disputes. These conflicting perspectives suggest that while the park's physical attributes and short-term experience can be positive, longer-term stays might entail different considerations regarding management interaction and resident policies. Ultimately, Pineview RV Campground offers a setting for outdoor enjoyment with essential amenities, catering to both transient and more extended visits, within a natural environment.

Ohh where to start… I’m sure it’s great for a night or two, but those who are wanting somewhere to stay long term.. RUN AWAY! From someone who stayed there for 8 months, there is so much wrong with management aka Robert the owner. When you pay your monthly rent, don’t expect to get a receipt unless you pay him or his staff in person. I paid in the night deposit and NEVER received any kind of receipt in my little mail box. Also, there is no lease agreement whatsoever. So the “rules” are by here-say only. Also, when the camper tenant in front of you verbally threatens your life, Robert will take their side over yours. Maybe it’s an age thing. So if you are younger I highly suggest you stay away. I have NEVER had a problem anywhere else that I have stayed. And don’t be surprised if Robert comes into the office as you’re doing laundry and reeks of alcohol and starts screaming in your face for doing laundry.

We stopped for an overnight on a trip. There we had a full hookup on a pull-through site. The owner is super helpful and very diligent about his park. Really nice.

This campground is great. The campground is big, with spacious sites, you don't feel cramed in to where you are setting on top of other campers. Grounds are well kept and maintained. The owner Mr. Robert is the most accommodating owner/host I've ever met. He was super helpful and went out of his way to assist us with setting up. He made sure we had everything we needed to hook up and get settled in. The campground has couple of ponds with fish, beach area by the big pond. Has a dog playground. We were a party of four campers. Three fifth wheels and a bumper pull. The host set us up in two very long sites, ~ 150 to 200ft. This let us set up to where we were able to go nose to tail with two campers per site. Plus we were able to and have the campers face each other. This made it so that our doors and awnings were facing each other. It was a very nice way for us to set up. The owner even supplied all the extra water and sewer hoses connectors and electrical cables we needed to make this happen. Awesome support by the owner he spent a lot of his time taking care to make sure we had everything we needed. I can't say enough good things about Mr. Robert he was the best owner/host we've ever had! When we come back to this area I would definitely have him on top of my list of campgrounds to check for availability.
