Are you an RVer traveling through Oklahoma City, or perhaps a local Oklahoman seeking a convenient and accessible spot for your RV in the heart of the metro area? Red Barn RV&B, located directly on the Interstate 35 Service Road, aims to provide a practical solution for your accommodation needs. As with any evolving property, it’s a place that caters to the necessities of RV living, offering a straightforward approach to parking your recreational vehicle in a central location.
Oklahoma City is a vibrant and growing urban center, and finding an RV park that offers both convenience and a place to rest can be a priority for many travelers and residents. Red Barn RV&B provides that direct access to major thoroughfares, making it an easy-in, easy-out option for those navigating the city. While it is undergoing a transition with new ownership as of late 2023 / early 2024, its fundamental offering remains a place to park with essential hookups.
It's important for prospective guests to note that like many properties undergoing changes, experiences can vary. Previous reviews indicate that the park has been a "quiet RV Park (most of the time)," suggesting it can offer a peaceful reprieve despite its urban fringe location. The process of new ownership often brings about evolving management styles and potential improvements, which can reshape the park's offerings over time.
For Oklahomans, Red Barn RV&B could serve as a practical base for exploring Oklahoma City's many attractions, whether it's visiting the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, enjoying the lively Bricktown Entertainment District, or attending events at the OKC Fairgrounds. While the park’s appearance and amenities are subject to ongoing development and management decisions under its new ownership, its core value lies in its prime location for easy access to the metropolitan area, making it a functional choice for those prioritizing convenience above all else.
Red Barn RV&B is strategically located at 3000 Interstate 35 Service Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73111, USA. This address places it directly on the service road of one of Oklahoma’s primary interstate highways, I-35. This is a significant advantage for RVers, offering unparalleled accessibility for those traveling north or south through Oklahoma City.
The proximity to I-35 means that guests can easily pull off the highway and access their site, making it an ideal stopover point for cross-country travelers. For locals in Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas, this location provides a highly convenient base for temporary stays, whether for work, visiting family, or attending events within the metro. The ease of access minimizes navigating complex city streets, which is a major benefit for large RVs.
Furthermore, being within Oklahoma City means that guests have immediate access to a vast array of urban amenities. Downtown Oklahoma City, Bricktown, the Adventure District (home to the Oklahoma City Zoo and Science Museum Oklahoma), and various shopping centers, restaurants, and medical facilities are all within a reasonable driving distance. This blend of direct highway access and urban convenience is a key highlight for Red Barn RV&B.
While its location right next to a major interstate may lead to some traffic noise, this is often an expected trade-off for the exceptional accessibility it provides. For RVers prioritizing a convenient and central location for exploring Oklahoma City or as a pragmatic stop on a longer journey, Red Barn RV&B’s placement on I-35 is a distinct advantage.
Based on its classification as an RV park and common expectations for such facilities in urban settings, Red Barn RV&B primarily focuses on providing essential services for RV owners. While specific details on the breadth of amenities are limited and reviews indicate a need for updates, the core offerings generally include:
Reviews suggest that the park may currently have limited amenities beyond these basic hookups. For instance, one reviewer stated, "They have NO amenities." Another mentioned "piles of gravel/dirt that needs to be spread." This indicates that while the essentials for parking and connecting your RV are likely in place, visitors should manage expectations regarding recreational facilities, communal areas, or additional services like laundry rooms or restrooms within the park itself. The focus appears to be on providing functional RV sites rather than a resort-style experience. Given the recent change in ownership, there is potential for future improvements to these service offerings.
Red Barn RV&B offers several features and highlights, though reviews indicate some areas that are currently undergoing transition or may require attention under new ownership:
It is important for prospective guests to be aware of other points highlighted in reviews, such as concerns regarding maintenance ("pretty trashy," "chug holes," "needs to be spread") and some issues with past management decisions related to other tenants. These aspects are part of the current state of the property as described by visitors and may be areas that the new ownership is addressing or will address. The key takeaway for potential visitors is to prioritize the convenient location, and understand that the park is in a period of transition.
As a professional content writer, I cannot invent specific promotions or special offers. Information regarding current promotions or special offers at Red Barn RV&B would typically be available directly from the park management. Given the reviews mentioning "TOP dollar" charges and a general lack of listed amenities, it is less likely that extensive promotions are regularly offered or widely advertised compared to more amenity-rich resorts. However, it is always possible that a park, especially one under new ownership, might introduce deals to attract new customers or offer competitive rates for long-term stays.
Prospective guests interested in any special offers should contact Red Barn RV&B directly using the provided phone number. Inquiry about weekly or monthly rates might reveal cost savings compared to daily rates, which is a common form of "promotion" at RV parks. Any discounts for extended stays would be directly communicated by the current management.

Red Barn RV&B in Oklahoma City offers a specific set of advantages that make it suitable for local Oklahomans, particularly those prioritizing convenience and accessibility in the urban core. While reviews indicate areas for potential improvement, its strategic location is its undeniable strength for local RVers.
For Oklahomans residing in or near Oklahoma City, this RV park serves as an exceptionally convenient home base. Its direct placement on the I-35 Service Road means that accessing major highways for work commutes, family visits, or simply getting around the metro is remarkably easy. This eliminates the often frustrating and time-consuming navigation through city traffic that can be associated with less centrally located parks. For those who own an RV but might not have space at home, or need temporary housing close to urban amenities, Red Barn RV&B provides a pragmatic solution.
The park's suitability for locals also stems from its potential as a straightforward, no-frills option. For RVers who are self-sufficient and primarily need a place with essential hookups while they conduct business, visit family, or attend events in Oklahoma City, Red Barn RV&B fulfills that basic need. It allows residents to maintain their RV lifestyle without sacrificing urban connectivity.
Furthermore, the fact that the park is "Under new ownership as of late 2023 / early 2024" presents a future possibility for locals. While reviews reflect previous conditions and management, new ownership often brings investment and a renewed focus on property improvement. For Oklahomans seeking an affordable and centrally located RV option, keeping an eye on Red Barn RV&B could prove beneficial as it potentially evolves. In essence, for the local RVer who values direct access to Oklahoma City and essential amenities, Red Barn RV&B serves as a functional and convenient urban RV parking solution.

They have NO amenities, it's pretty trashy. They have a couple piles of gravel/dirt that needs to be spread due to weather creating chug holes, and it has never been spread, it sits right where whom ever dumped it. You would think the owner would take more pride in his property and what it's appearance is to draw people in, they don't. They need to have someone come in a be a property manager not just a slum lord, and they charge TOP dollar.
Jul 24, 2024 · Shauna StoppNice and quiet RV Park (most of the time.) Under new ownership as of late 2023 / early 2024. Previously known as Auumann Acres RV Park also previously owned by Troy Auumann. New owner has been reluctant on evicting my dope dealing neighbors and this place is slowly losing its uniqueness, under its new ownership for sure!!
