Pricing for campsites usually ranges from $16.00 to $32.00 per night, depending on the site features (e.g., electric-only vs. electric and water hookups).
However, visitors eligible for specific federal passes may receive discounts. These generally include:
- America the Beautiful – National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Senior Pass: Offers a 50% discount on camping fees for U.S. citizens or permanent residents 62 years or older.
- America the Beautiful – National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Access Pass: Provides a 50% discount on camping fees for U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities.
- America the Beautiful – National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Annual Pass: While primarily for entrance fees to national parks, it can sometimes apply to day-use fees at federal recreation sites, though camping discounts are typically for Senior and Access passes.
It is always recommended to check the official Recreation.gov website (where USACE campsites are reserved) or call the campground directly to confirm current rates, availability, and any applicable discounts. Customer Reviews
We stayed here for two full weeks in our 34' class A. The site was absolutely long enough and relatively level. Beautiful tall pines, and breathtaking dam. As nice as the park was, the hosts, Bonnie and Mike, were even nicer! Thank you for a great time!
Very nice stop on 7. Very beautiful and scenic. There are also nice playgrounds here for kids. Going up to the dam is also really nice. The lady who tends this campground is very nice.
Beautiful park, nice bathrooms with showers. Running water at campsites. Picnic tables. Great little overnight stay and the dam was breathtaking
Such a peaceful campground. Excellent fishing. Wonderful camp host. Mrs Bonnie is amazing And she is such a joy and so helpful. My only complaint is the water needs to be closer to campsites and not have to run my water hose across the rd for ppl to run over. Other then that the place to just beautiful. And the fact there is no phone service in most of the camp is ok with us.
We had a great stay here during the Total Eclipse. The campground is scenic, spaced out, but maybe a little tired, and in need of an upgrade. We had a problem with reverse polarity on our 30 amp service, but Mike the Campground Host called it in, and a Ranger came that same day. A friendly and competent maintenance guy came the next morning (Sunday) and fixed the wiring. We had to get use to the lack of cell service, and more than once drove to the top of the dam to reconnect. The hosts Bonnie and Mike do a great job of making us feel welcome. You can tell they really like doing this. The only disappointment was the dump station on the way out. We are used to a water connection we can hook our flushing hose up to, not some cut off narrow hose hanging from a tall pole. It was too bad we had to leave without thoroughly cleaning our black tanks.
