We recently stayed at Riverside Cabins & RV Park and had a very good experience. The scenery of the mountains and the South Branch Potomac River, which was a short walk from our RV site, were wonderful. Our full hook up site was spacious and level. Bathrooms/showers were clean and adequate. Plenty of activities for kids and families - pool, playgrounds, walking and biking. Owners Steve and Joyce were very pleasant and helpful, and they work hard to maintain their well kept campground. Short rides to the towns of Moorefield and Petersburg, about a 25 to 30 minute ride to Smoke Hole Caverns, and about 45 minutes to Seneca Rocks. Lots of natural wonders to see in this area. Would certainly recommend this RV park/campground, and the surrounding area, to anyone who loves nature and the outdoors. Sue and Andy Baranek

A remote campground location with a peaceful atmosphere. They had the cleanest shower/bathroom compared to all other campgrounds we stayed at and the owner, Steve, was very nice and accommodating. We camped right by the Potomac riverbank and it was so serene. I slept hearing the river flowing. You can’t beat that! Definitely going back for river kayaking and tubing. Only Cons: Our campsite was far from the bathroom area and no picnic table (not a big deal as it was primitive tent camping). Highly recommended for families as there are other activities that can be done in the campground.

We loved our stay at the RV Park! It is clean, family friendly and the staff is helpful. We were in an RV and tents by the river. The bathrooms were clean and plentiful. The river views are fantastic. Ask the staff for fishing tips when you get in. The Kayaking was fantastic. You can pay one of the staff to drive you up river and float down and take out at your campsite. We went over Memorial day. No loud music or rowdy campers. A great experience. Lots of wildlife on the river too.

Stayed off peak in early February 24. We arrived later than expected owing to traffic, but the friendly team were waiting for us and quickly guided us to the site. A really peaceful and relaxing stay with only a few friendly long term residents. Even in the middle of winter, the site was well maintained and clean. The river is fabulous.

Beautiful Campground right on a beautiful river. We stopped there while motorcycle camping and it was great. Tent camping right beside the river! Clean bathrooms/showers and Steve was super nice! We plan on returning this Spring!
