Promotions or Special Offers
As a more rustic and traditional campground, Riverstone Campground typically focuses on providing value through its direct access to nature rather than extensive promotional offers. Customer Reviews
We are road tripping and staying somewhere new every night, we have met several nice people at campgrounds and this one was unfortunately the worst. The place was completely empty (except for some people that seem to be living in the tent area which was a little unsettling but the guy was nice) and we were tenting. Instead of accommodating us they still wanted to charge us the RV price to stay in our own tent in an RV spot, even if we weren’t using power. Other campgrounds that are completely vacant have been more than welcoming and accommodating. The fire rings were completely filled with thick wet mud and ashes to the brim, we had to clean our own out which was pounds and pounds of that stuff to even start a fire. The tenting is shoved in the back corner, very crowded close spots if you are looking for space between this wouldn’t be the spot for you. The campground has done zero maintenance it seems on its campsites, and the bathrooms were not clean. Just an overall disappointing experience. We sadly see why no one was staying there when all the other campgrounds were full. There is no lights on the sign to see at night trying to find the place. Picnic tables were falling apart. The river was beautiful though I must say. The water flowing down was very very loud but that was okay with us, if you are looking for quiet I wouldn’t suggest that spot for tenting. Overall will not return. The owner or manager should put forth more care for their establishment.
Let me start by saying, the office staff was very very nice! We have a 26 foot 5th wheel. My husband and I stayed at site#18. It was very nice to hear the waterfall, the water was crystal clear, site had plenty of room. It was very quiet, peaceful and very enjoyable. However, a few opportunities for the owner, the picnic tables are very very old, frankly should be replaced. We didn't even use ours as we were afraid they would break or get splinters. The other big issue was the signage is not lite up at night, so it was very difficult to find the driveway at night. It's very dark! We would definitely return but it would be nice to see a bit more upgrades.
I would like to start off by saying the camp manager was very nice and that the problems are not her fault. I have stayed here in the past and it has continued to go down hill each stay. This time we stayed in what is the best spot in the camp and it was horrible. It was torn up with a track hoe which was still setting there. Camp spot was very dirty and uneven, hard to walk on. People walking through the camp spot all the time. No cable, Wi-Fi spotty at best and the shower/bathroom is very old, and nasty. Would not recommend staying here.
Miss Christine is absolutely amazing and was more than gracious. Great location on the river at the base of the entrance to national park.
I wish they tell you they don't have cable only smart tv to pick up wifi. This is not told to you until your paying to stay.
