Located centrally on the Wolfeboro Highway (Route 28), Roberts Knoll is recognized as the premier seasonal RV campground in the New Hampshire Lakes Region. Unlike many parks that cater to nightly or weekly stays, this facility is thoughtfully dedicated to seasonal campers, creating a deep sense of community and providing a true 'home away from home' for an entire summer season.
Spanning 56 acres of beautiful, old-growth forest, the campground offers 72 spacious seasonal campsites, each naturally nestled against a thick backdrop of pines and hardwoods, ensuring a peaceful and private setting. The commitment to seasonal living is clear in the customer reviews, which consistently praise the atmosphere as "relaxing and peaceful," with grounds that are "so well kept and maintained." The review calling it "Our home away from home!" perfectly encapsulates the loyalty and satisfaction of its clientele.
At the heart of Roberts Knoll is the dedicated ownership, with Kirk (the owner) frequently cited as "great" for his active role in fostering a friendly, engaging, and clean environment. The community atmosphere is enhanced by frequent group events and the generally "friendly" nature of the fellow campers. This strong sense of camaraderie is a significant draw for local campers looking to establish lasting summer friendships and traditions for their families.
From the first sunny days of Mother’s Day weekend until the final farewells on Columbus Day weekend, Roberts Knoll offers an established destination where the vacation lifestyle is a continuous state. Love Roberts Knoll Campground. First year seasonal here and we are having a wonderful season. Very nice people and Kirk, the owner, is great. Lots to do or just sit by the fire. Fantastic Mother and Fathers Day breakfasts and Fourth of July BBQ hosted by Kirk. October will be a sad time when we leave but spring next year will come soon enough.
Jul 28, 2024 · Diane-Marie PeloquinOur home away from home! We are first time campers here this season and absolutely love it! The grounds are so well kept and maintained. Sitting at our site is so relaxing and peaceful and when we need a change of scenery, there is so much to do in regards to activities, especially the pool! Love that there is lots of nature around and it's close proximity to Alton Bay and Wolfeboro. Fellow campers are friendly and everyone just seems to be enjoying themselves. Kirk does a great job! We love our staycation here!
Jul 11, 2023 · TinaWe have been seasonal campers since I was a young child and by far Robert Knoll Campground is the best. It's not just the pool, the crafts, the horseshoe pit, the volleyball, the batmitten , the two playgrounds, the pickleball, the Cornhole, Karaoke, movie nights, lawn checkers and connect 4, barbecues, all these amenities and more, but it's the owner Kirk and all the wonderful campers that make it so great. My husband and I are so grateful and blessed to be here. Already we have met so many kind people. This is where we hope to spend the rest of our retirement years, God willing. It's a gem!
Jul 27, 2024 · Kathy MooreWe were new to the campground this year, and looking forward to sticking around as long as they will allow us. All of the neighbors are friendly and Kirk is not the type of owner who lives thousands of miles away, he is there and always available. Amenities like the dog park, pool, and any outdoor game you can think of makes it easy to keep the family entertained. Everyone we have brought over to visit has been impressed and had a blast. I would highly recommend becoming a seasonal guest if you are looking for a new spot.
Aug 25, 2022 · Michael Byron SpragueGreat campground. The new owner, Kirk has done a great job keeping the grounds and facilities in excellent condition. We have found him to be friendly and professional and has gone out of his way to assist us. I highly recommend this campground to anyone considering seasonal camping.
