My wife is a traveling nurse. And as other traveling nurses know, you receive a contract and literally begin work within a couple of weeks. We have traveled all over the country and stayed at many, many, many places, and I have never had to leave a bad review for any R. V park before. With this particular park, my wife was offered a position which he accepted, so I immediately caught around to make a reservation and 4 days later I had to cancel the reservation because there was a mix up and some paperwork with my wife's employer. Even though it is the dead, middle of winter and disestablishment has plenty of open places. They decided to keep our entire $250 deposit. Even though our reservation did not prevent them from being able to rent out the spot in that 4 day time period i would highly recommend that you look elsewhere. To stay as these people are obviously crooks, and there is no understanding with them. They they told me that they would work with me. When I first made the call about the reservation and all of that changed 4 days later. These people nothing but a bunch of liars and thieves. Do not tell people. That are long-term, especially that you understand that things come up and that you would work with us, and then all of a sudden, go back on that. I could completely understand if you had to take a portion of the deposit but to keep the entire deposit, it's completely insane. If people do not mind doing business with crooks, then by all means, stay here.
Feb 04, 2025 · Gerald StellarI have been coming here since I was 8 years old. I love rockahock, family have owned lots there. We still continue to come with our travel trailer.
Mar 30, 2025 · Brad StullerI love this campground, but I wish they had a dog park. Alot of people were saying the same thing. They have plenty of room to build a nice dog park.
May 27, 2025 · Michelle SuttonVery quiet and roomy. It's easy to get in and out. Had a problem with sewage, and the staff tried to be condescending. Guess they have dealt with too many who don't know what they were doing. Other than that, it was wonderful.
Dec 17, 2024 · Dan BrooksHave to be honest, if you're here to get away from it all this probably isn't the place for you. BUT!!! If you're here to visit Williamsburg and the surrounding attractions, this is your spot! Scenery is beautiful, the fishing is great and I have to say the staff and the residents are fantastic. Battery died in my truck while I was fishing and was assisted immediately by a couple of friendly residents there 🤗. And when I was done fishing and ready to leave I found a note on my truck saying that I overpaid for the kayak launch fee and they told me to come in and grab my money. This place is fantastic!
