Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals
S'more Family Fun Park offers a compelling value proposition for local Vermonters, particularly those living in the surrounding Lamoille and Washington County areas. Its location directly on Route 100 makes it an exceptionally convenient and low-effort destination for a weekend staycation. Rather than committing to a long drive across the state, locals can quickly access a campground that is ready-made for family entertainment.
This park is best suited for families who prioritize on-site activities and convenience over a purely rugged or pristine wilderness experience. The combination of a nice swimming pool, mini-golf, and picnic facilities means you have built-in entertainment that doesn't require packing up the car every day. It serves as an excellent 'home base' for exploring the world-famous attractions of the Lamoille Valley, including the nearby hiking and biking trails, Ben & Jerry's factory, and the many local craft food and beverage producers.
However, as a local user, it's wise to manage expectations regarding certain aspects, such as power reliability for high-demand RV use or the general maintenance level of non-pool amenities like the mini-golf. By calling ahead and verifying the current operational status of the facilities, especially the office hours, Vermont residents can ensure their stay is a smooth and enjoyable one. For an accessible, activity-rich, and conveniently located family campground in the heart of the Green Mountain State, S'more Family Fun Park provides a practical and fun option.

Mini golf isn't always well maintained, but the pool is nice. Not huge, but pool well maintained, no lifeguard on duty. Golf carts have a nice setup that looks fun. Campground is towards the back. Grills available in picnic part in front.
Dec 27, 2017 · Dax MarshelNot well maintained. The power keeps surging and most of the time you cannot use much power. That’s all the owner does is party with a group instead of maintains the campground. Office is never opened and last year the pool was seldom cleaned. Just a party place for the owner and friends
Apr 22, 2022 · Bonnie BowenI came here to the go-kart track and bought some souvees back in 2012 when the last people owned it. I was surprised to see it closed when I was up here from Maryland in 2014 and now after coming across that it is open again and is looking awesome, I will definitely put this place on the must-stop list the next time I'm in Vermont! Hope to be there soon!
Apr 15, 2017 · Mike CaputoNot well maintained. Mini golf is in disrepair, no go-carting, and no soft-serve ice cream.
