Located on a sprawling, nearly 50-acre property in North Conway, this campground is celebrated for successfully blending the natural beauty of the White Mountains with the convenience of a modern, resort-style facility. It is more than a simple campsite; it’s a family vacation hub designed to keep every member of the family, including the four-legged ones, entertained and comfortable. The property is situated along the iconic Saco River, offering guests direct river access for tubing, paddling, and swimming. The dedication to guest satisfaction is evident in the constant maintenance and upgrading undertaken by the staff, who are consistently praised in customer reviews as "super friendly and helpful." This commitment ensures a spotlessly clean environment, with one long-time camper noting the bathhouses and showers are "the cleanest facilities I've seen in my 6 seasons camping." While some technical services like Wi-Fi and cable may be inconsistent in a wilderness setting, the overwhelming consensus is that the physical property, the staff, and the sheer volume of activities make this a must-visit annual tradition for New Hampshire families.

For local families, this campground eliminates the need for far-flung, expensive travel, providing a luxurious yet affordable vacation right in the heart of their home state's most beautiful region. Its suitability is rooted in the high-quality, family-first amenities—the heated pool, two playgrounds, the fun on-site activities, and the two gorgeous dog parks—which cater to the modern New Hampshire family’s desire for both comfort and outdoor adventure. Furthermore, the ability to transition seamlessly from a river tubing trip to a quick walk for tax-free shopping is a convenience that only a handful of campgrounds in the White Mountains can offer. The campground was fine, clean, and the sites fairly level. Riverside sites were on the side of the river but hard to access. No babbling Brook here. The two dog parks were great. Our sites have just been remodeled so we had dirt instead of grass. The wireless connections sucked and the cable did not work. So if you have small children who require watching some shows during down time this is not a good place. Access to Mount Washington and the White mountains was wonderful. Get off of the beaten path and you will find some nice shops and farmers markets. I give this campground a three stars mainly for the disappointment in the riverside site and wireless connection. Access points need to be lowered.
Sep 16, 2025 · Kelly and ConnieFabulous property, staff are super friendly and helpful. The staff also appear to always be maintaining and upgrading the campground. Cleanest bathroom/shower facilities I've seen in my 6 seasons camping. Great store, great pool complex, and excellent river access. My family and I knew within the first day that this would be a yearly stop for us during camping season. Cannot say enough good things!
Jul 05, 2025 · Rob KurlanskyThis is an amazing campground. There is so much love and pride in everything they do. Place is spotless, well maintained and everything is top notch. They are always updating, cleaning and caring for everything. You will not find anything in disrepair or dirty. Bathrooms, laundry, camp sites, store, pool and everything else is in excellent condition. Even the dog park is immaculate. Plenty to do. Go to the pool, grab ice cream, sit by the fire, take a tube and float down the Saco. If you can be unhappy or bored here you are the first. Some sites are bigger or smaller, some have more shade, but I don’t think there is a bad site in the place. If you need anything, there is plenty around you, but you won’t know it’s there when in the campground. It’s absolutely worth the price. Go check it out. I struggled with this review because I want to keep this place a secret. But that wouldn’t be fair. The owners and staff are amazing and deserve a thank you!
Jul 09, 2025 · Kenneth RofranoMy family and I love coming to this campground! Very convenient easy to access the river for a day of floating. You will need to be cautious while driving on campgrounds kids on bikes everywhere! Great staff lots of things to do and the outlet stores are right down the road.
Aug 09, 2025 · Peter AndrewchukWe stayed at the campground and had an RV site. We came to this campground due to solely the location. We wanted to be close to town and close to White Mountain. We didn’t have far to travel on our day of arrival and had to leave our last campground at 11am, and needed to arrive early so we showed up at noon. The lady behind the counter asked someone on the walkie-talkie if our site was clean and ready to go and was told it was ready and then proceeded to tell me if I wanted to check in at noon there would be a early check-in fee of $25. So we decided to leave and go have lunch in a parking lot and spend the $25 with a local food truck versus giving the campground the money. They also charge for dogs so you must be aware. If you have dogs, they charge $10 per day per dog. Which nobody else does. Campground in our opinion is fee hungry. The campsite had continuous beeping noises from the construction in the area. All day beeping noises from a tractor Next door. The campsite has fine, crushed silt like stone, so it always came in our camper, things got dirty. We would not stay here again. They don’t make you feel as though they are happy to have your business.
