Customer Reviews
We booked this rv hookup site on the Hipcamp app. We arrived a bit after 5:00 pm, and the check in building was closed. We had to call to get someone to meet us to check us in and get our site number. The app didn’t mention that, and after driving through a storm and tornado watch it was a bit stressful for a few minutes. Other than that we had a quiet, pleasant night at Serenity. Too bad we were there on a Tuesday so the restaurant was closed. The grounds were spacious and beautiful with lots of large shade trees, and decent sized hookup spots. The park also has cabins and yurts which looked like they would be fun to stay in. I would recommend this park.
Took our travel trailer there. Wonderful retreat with a fun bar and grill roadhouse style. Grounds were beautiful and very well kept, place was quiet and clean. Hope we can come back someday!
Never again. There are many reasons not to stay at this RV campsite. - what little asphalt there is, is heavily cracked. - All sites are dirt mixed with gravel. - no one is there after hours. We called 3 times and no one picked up. I did have a missed call with no identification. No message was left so I expect it to be spam. - since we could not reach anyone we parked in the first site we found that was long enough for our rig. The next day someone came and apologized but told us we were assigned to another spot and would need to move. - the cancellation policy is 7 days prior to our camp night. We made the reservation the same day so no refund. - campground uses 'Newbook' online booking company for reservations. When I made our reservation it was priced at $54.88. It did not identify the $5.49 online booking fee each night. And, it did not identify the price increase for Friday and Saturday at $71.34 each night. - a minor detail, the fire pit had plants growing in it as well as trash. The campground is not what I excepted for the price especially since this is not the busy season.
Recently camped here because we were looking for new places for a quick weekend trip. Workers were very nice and accommodating. That's were the pros ended. This campground is mostly full time workers living. The way the full timers run down the campground curb appeal shouldn't be allowed. But hey it's clearly campgrounds bread and butter. Roads were practically non existent. We have a 35.5 5th wheel that could barely keep wheels on what's left of paving. Campsites are gravel. "Grass" is all weeds and not groomed. It is priced like a resort at $70 per nite all in. In my opinion should have been no more than $25 and that's only because of full hook ups including 50 Amp and sewer. We won't go back.
Such a beautiful getaway from the city! We’ve been here several times to play disc golf and we enjoyed our driest time camping out here. It is well kept and everything you need is right there. The water park is a blast and the disc golf course is great! My only complaint is that there aren’t many trash cans around the course. Just one on hole 4. Other than that, everything is perfect!
