While specific, frequently changing promotions for Sunset Ridge Campground may not be widely advertised, it’s important for prospective campers to be aware of the reservation and fee structure, as well as general park passes that can offer value. A non-refundable reservation fee and all nightly rental fees are usually required upfront to secure a cabin. For overnight stays, the park requires a daily vehicle permit in addition to the camping or cabin fees. These permits can often be purchased at the park entrance or through a kiosk, which is typically open 24 hours for day passes.
It is always recommended to check the official Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism (KDWPT) website or call the Milford State Park office directly for the most current information on fees, reservation policies, and any seasonal offers or discounts that might be available. This is especially crucial for understanding specific pet policies for cabins (like the Pinto cabin, which is pet-friendly with a $50 fee) and any minimum stay requirements, particularly during peak seasons or holiday weekends. Day passes are available for those who wish to visit the park for a shorter duration without overnight camping.

Customer Reviews
Very amazing camp ground!!! The cabins are spaced out good, there's covered seating area that the top is made of cement, with picnic benches. A grill to cook on and a fire pit. The cabin is cute and open inside, has separate area for sleeping, a kitchen and bathroom. Very nice and well kept! Usually have to reserve well in advance if you want a certain time to have. It's peaceful and beautiful here. Definitely lots of wildlife, lots of Hawks so watch out for your lil dogs. Definitely will be renting from here again! Day passes are different than the renting of the cabins and lot spaces. Should be able to get on campitks to reserve. Gate is open. 8-4 but has a kiosk to pay for daily passes that's open 24hrs. It's a beautiful lake and a great place to camp at!
Sunset Campground is a Must Stay destination! Cabins are spacious, clean and comfy. Photos are of Pinto cabin, the only pet friendly I believe.
It was super nice! I had a lot of fun with my family. It’s very clean, very fun. The bathrooms were cleaner than what I expected. The only thing that would mess it up for my family and I is that there was a security guard coming in and out of our camp site for 2 days straight because we had more tents than expected. He just kept interrupting and killing everyone’s vibe. Other than that it was great!
Beautiful place but shower were to far! For RV's is good but for tent camping u need to drive about 3 min for the only shower they got!
