Sycamore State Park Group Camp is nestled within Sycamore State Park, with its primary access point for the park located at 4675 N. Diamond Mill Road, Trotwood, OH 45426, USA. Promotions or Special Offers
As a state park campground managed by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), Sycamore State Park Group Camp typically operates on a set reservation fee schedule rather than offering frequent "promotions" in the commercial sense. The cost for group camp reservations is usually a flat rate per night, dependent on the specific group camp (A or B) and its amenities. These fees are established to cover the maintenance and operation of the park facilities.
Specific discounts or seasonal offers are not commonly advertised for Ohio State Park group camps. However, it's always advisable for interested groups to:
- Check the official ODNR website (ohiodnr.gov): This is the most reliable source for current reservation rates, policies, and any potential special announcements related to park usage.
- Contact the Park Office Directly: While the ODNR lists a regional office phone, calling the park office (listed as 937-854-4452 for Sycamore State Park) can sometimes provide the most up-to-date information on booking availability, specific site details, and any unique considerations for your group's stay.
- Inquire about Off-Peak Season: During the off-peak season (typically November 1 - December 31 for some Ohio State Parks), certain amenities like water might be turned off, but this could potentially coincide with lower demand or specific considerations, though usually not reduced rates for group camps.

Customer Reviews
Spent a great weekend camping at the Group Camp site; the one with the big barn. Only question is: where is the nearest potable water? Thankfully, we brought our own, but if we needed more, all the water on site was labeled not for drinking. Great group site with a playground, volleyball net, big field, and miles of nearby trails.
Park Ranger did a great job clearing the road and cleaning up the shelter. The heater inside that worked great. The Porta potty was not great.
