This was such a wonderful experience!!! I not only loved the natural beauty of the shore and bluffs but the whole family friendly atmosphere with kids and families visiting each other and kids and families on bikes all over the place! It felt so neighborly like a suburb within a campground! It made me feel safe as I was camping alone. I also have to mention that at the top of the list for me was the Eagle trail hike which was too beautiful for words and magical! Completely blew me away with the natural beauty- oh the Niagara escarpment is an amazing thing to behold! I hardly could belive I was in the midwest!! Not to mention the miles of well cared for beaches and shore. The Eagle Tower and Panorama is of course my favorite too! I loved that the "whole neighborhood" would gather at the shore for the sunset which was so sweet and amazing! Will be coming back with my husband (the Lord willing.)

Beautifully situated Campground in Pennisula State Park in a dense forest, on the shore of a lake and in absolute silence. The sounds of nature carry around in the silence that reigns here. The campsites are very private and give a sense of isolation. The facilities are kept in perfect cleanliness. I only recommend adapting to living among nature because at night racoons do not spare anyone and will gladly eat your food if you do not secure it for the night.

This is a large but beautiful Campground Within he Peninsula State Park. There is access to bike trails and walking trails along the shore. There's also a canoe and kayak launch and a nice landscape structures playground near the campground. The sites are shaded and private with lots of trees between each site. each site has a picnic table and fire ring within the gravel pad. The campground is mostly level with paved roads.

The campsites were in a great location and the bay was visible from our campsite. The weather was not in our favor but we made the best of it. Bathrooms are available in the off season, but just the vault toilets, there are no available outlets on site which I liked, as it seemed more with nature. I recommend going, just make sure to go during the season, as the off season is a little cold lol. The pictures I uploaded are from eagle ridge which is within the camping area and is a beautiful trail.
