  • Senior and Resident Discounts: Wisconsin residents, particularly seniors, may be eligible for discounted annual passes or camping fees. It's always advisable to check the current DNR fee schedule for eligibility.
  • Accessible Pricing for Nature Access: The overall goal of state parks is to make natural recreation accessible to all citizens, meaning fees are designed to be affordable while supporting park maintenance.

Such a great campground, that is right on the lake with great trails within walking distance. The fall colors were gorgeous. My family of five, littlest is 5, had a great five mile hike on eagle bluff trail and minnehaha trail.

Meticulously maintained camp sites. The camp hosts are great and come around often to ensure previous campers cleaned up and put out fire. There are a few different restroom and shower options in addition to water spigots to fill water for cooking etc. The camp sites are good sizes and many of them have electricity. The only downfall is it’s not easy to book because things fill up fast for the summer. You have to be ready if you’re looking to be there for a long period of time. This can be stressful but it’s a popular campsite. Close to the beach. Otherwise they do have sites you can grab for a night or two when you just show up. We have been coming here for nearly 30 years now and will continue to do so every year.

Very nice campground! The sites were all gravel and very large! The bathrooms were ok. They were nice but not very clean. A lot of spiders everywhere in the bathrooms and shower areas. Seemed like they showed up around 930 am to clean the bathrooms. Only problem is they open all the doors to the showers and then went in to clean the restrooms. So you couldn’t use the whole building for about an hour. (Keep that in mind if you sleep in one day and want to shower around that time!)

Great campground nestled in Peninsula State Park Wisconsin. I didn’t spend as much time here as I wanted, however. I enjoyed Door County in the fall time. It was a little confusing with GPS but enter through Shore Road off of Water Street, get your parking ticket, then proceed to whatever campground you’re looking for. Campsites are many but it is a wooded campground. I’ve seen cleaner bathrooms but they weren’t too bad. I really want to come back in the summer.
