I know there are some really negative reviews, but we had a really nice experience here. Our party had four sites--two with campers, one with a tent, and one cabin. The cabin was quite nice, and my parents loved it. The two camper sites were a bit uneven and one was a bit small, but both were suitable. The tent site was also a bit small. These were our only real complaints. The campground was quiet and family-friendly. The facilities, including restrooms, were clean. The location is great--five minutes from North Higgins Lake State Park, ten minutes from Campbell's Canoe Livery, and 15-20 minutes from a lot of really nice hikes. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Dakota. He was friendly and helpful. We'd definitely camp here again.

We stayed in the Moose Cabin for 2 nights and had a wonderful time! We loved the campground. It was quiet, family friendly and offers a ton of perks like a playground, pizza on site, rock climbing wall, a camp store filled with fun toys for kids and more. This is a very well run campground and only a few minutes drive to North Higgins Lake public beach. Dakota and Maggie were so helpful and always around to answer any questions we had. We will absolutely be back!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I would never recommend this campground. First the booking site online says the yurts have a queen bed with a twin over full bunk bed. Not true. It was a twin-twin bunk bed. Second, the yurt was absolutely filthy. Dead bugs all over the beds, dirty shoe prints all over the beds, cobwebs and spiders galore in the bathtub. The bathroom floor felt like it was going to fall in any second. The tv didn’t work. The wood on the outside at the bottom surrounding the yurt is completely rotted out. We showed up 45 minutes early and got charged $30 dollars to check in early even though the yurt was “ready” and no one was occupying it. This place is money hungry and doesn’t want to do updates or take care of the place. Overly priced and not nice. My family rented 3 tent sites during our stay as well and none of them had a good experience also. They all complained of dirty bathrooms and showers, no toilet paper in the bathrooms. The guy that works there is friendly but the woman working is something else, when she was told about the bathroom floor at check out she just smiled and said okay. Never said sorry or anything. I wish I would have never spent $450 for 2 nights in a disgusting yurt. I could have went to a nicer location and stayed in a nicer place for less than I spent on this place. I will never return and I wish I could get my money back.
