Small campground with a jeep trail along the Ridgeline. If you like outdoor jeep stuff, this is the place to be this summer. The campground only has like 10 spots but you can use the jeep trails for free.

This is such a beautiful campground! The sites are nice and roomy and each have a fire pit with a grate and a sturdy picnic table. There are several secure trash cans around the area, so you can dispose of your garbage safely. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. There is a board at the front entrance with maps and suggestions of things to do around the area. New Castle is 30 minutes away where you can pick up supplies and get cell reception. We hiked the Lipes Branch trail. The trail is overgrown in places but not overall hard to follow. It starts off flat but about 30 minutes in gets much steeper. It provides beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
Beautiful and remote, safe and close to lots of hiking and a stream right across the street
