While the atmosphere is geared toward the practicality of travel, its unique position directly on the banks of the Delaware River offers a surprising element of natural tranquility. Though it is intentionally located for easy highway access, and thus some ambient noise is to be expected, the peaceful presence of the river serves as a calming backdrop. This is a really awesome spot. It’s right on the Delaware river and a quick on off from Route 84 right at the Pennsylvania New York border. We needed propane, water and a dump station. They had it all with a smile… Everything we wanted and nothing we didn’t. Super reasonable prices and very friendly and professional staff. Don’t hesitate to stop here. I would gladly stay overnight. Even though it’s near the highway it’s not really that noisy and the river is very peaceful.
Aug 31, 2025 · Chris MoranI had the pleasure of staying here a couple weeks ago (August 2025). I found this to be a very nice park after a long day of driving. This area along I-84 I sometimes consider an RV park desert, and difficult to find a place to say between New England and Scranton, PA. This facility was easy on easy off I-84. The staff were very nice, and even called to verify my reservation, that I didn't even have to pay an upfront deposit for! Facilities were very clean, Sites were clean and easy to get into. They even escorted me to my site! Yes you can stay overnight in the welcome center nearby, but why would you pass up a secure location where you can put your slides out, have electricity. I will be staying here again when I make my trips back and forth to new England again!
Sep 01, 2025 · PhilWe stayed here for one night en route to Maine. It was very convenient to pull off of I-84 and check in for one night. We only used electricity for the night and it was very easy and convenient. It was easy to find, relatively well lit and we were allowed to pull in just after 10pm which was nice to not have a time constraint on getting in. We did not use the bathrooms or shower facility as we had our own so I cannot attest to the bathrooms or showers. Our site was fairly level and we did not have to spend extra time leveling our rig. If you are looking for an easy in, easy out place to stop on your way, this is a good one.
May 12, 2025 · Mark McAdamsThis place has improved a lot since my last stay 2-3 years ago. It's still basically a parking lot. Only a few permanent rigs now rather than most of the sites being permanent folks back then. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom generally clean though the shower stalls couild use a good scrubbing. Yeah, lots of I84 noise but that is not unusual for parks located along main travel routes. Would stay here again when passing throuigh.
Apr 25, 2025 · Carl CarlsonWhile I had selected this campground just because it appeared to be an easy on/off from the Interstate as a way to break up what would have otherwise been too long a leg, I was pleasantly surprised to find it to be a nice campground. Friendly staff. Easy on-off from highway. Big rig friendly. At first sight, the campground appears to be basically just a giant gravel parking lot with some grass between the sites, but, after we set up and explored, we discovered that at the edge of the campground is the Delaware river and it’s actually quite lovely. There are also large grassy areas that made our canine companion very happy. The campground is in Pennsylvania, on this side of the Interstate on the other side of the river is New Jersey, and on the other side of the interstate on the other side of the river is New York. The interstate is maybe 100 yards away so road noise is easily heard outside and inside the coach. Fortunately, I brought ear plugs. Site 16/19. Pull through FHU, 50/30/20, pedestal tall enough for watchdog to clear the ground, heated water faucet, 3 inch non-threaded sewer, cable TV. Pad is very well compacted fine gravel. Site is almost perfectly level, 0.2° front low, 0.1° right side low. Picnic table, no fire ring. 30 foot site spacing. Sites are basically parallel, maybe just slightly angle. You may have noticed the interesting site number. It is because the "site" is an interesting configuration of two sites, each with it's own full set of utilities, one in front of the other. I suppose it could be two back-to-back back-in sites, or two pull through sites for two RV's traveling together, but they gave it to us as a single pull through, which means that it was more than long enough for the coach and the toad. It appears most of the other pull through sites are standard single sites, which would not have been long enough for the coach and the toad. Showers and toilets are on the older side, but clean. Laundry has four front loader washing machines $3.50 per load for a regular wash or $4.50 a load for a power wash and four dryers $1.50 per load. Verizon: 2 bars LTE/5G, 87.9 Mbps down, 6.85 Mbps up; AT&T 5.32 Mbps down, 0.63 Mbps up. Reasonable prices given pull through FHU. Tips: Bring earplugs if road noise bothers you. Giovanni's Pizza and Gyro King will deliver to the campground. Free delivery ($20 minimum). Menus are available at the office when you check in.
