Customer Reviews
Avoid this campground. They have extremely poor maintenance, and the grass and weeds overtake the place and makes it look junky. There is no playground. The store is not open during the week (so no ice, no drinks). The 3 pigs grill is good and staffed by friendly people but you can't count on when it will be open and it's only scheduled to be open on Saturday and Sundays during the summer which is not enough. The pool drops from 3 feet to 12 ft very quickly so not terribly kid friendly. The management is never around and they have been rude when reporting issues. The campers are very cramped together like you're right up to the next camper and there is no grass or trees or picnic tables or parking. You might get a good view of Holston Lake depending on your spot.
This is a lovely campground nestled on a hill with a surprising amount of room, clean amenities and spectacular view of South Holston Lake. It was a one mile walk to the Washington County Park. There is a nature trail, beach and boat launch. It was free to walk around and a $2/car $3/car with boat entry. Bristol, VA/TN is just 20 minutes away and has many restaurants and a cute downtown area. My glamping experience was great. I stayed in the Butterfly Bell tent situated on a deck. The tent is high quality and perfectly set up. There is a bed, linens, towels, nightstand, lamp, fan and books! Additionally, there was a table and 2 chairs on the deck adorned with lights. I truly enjoyed this unique camping experience and will certainly return.
Great place if you camp some sites have lake view. Really close to Boat ramp and food during season.
It is peaceful, clean and the campers are very friendly. Over a big thumbs up.
This campground is wonderful. Clean, quite and beautiful campground site and management is awesome. This place is awesome.
