For many residents across the Hoosier State, particularly those exploring diverse housing options, manufactured home parks offer an increasingly relevant and accessible alternative to traditional single-family homes or apartment living. Valparaiso itself is a desirable place to live, known for its community spirit, educational opportunities, and local attractions. However, it is essential for prospective residents to consider the feedback provided by current customers. The most prominent concern repeatedly highlighted in reviews is the extremely poor condition of the roads within and leading into the park, described with stark imagery of potholes large enough to "build a 5 bedroom home." This suggests a significant issue with infrastructure maintenance that could impact daily driving and vehicle wear.

It is crucial for any Indiana resident considering Meadowview Mobile Home Park to perform thorough due diligence. This should include personally visiting the park to assess the road conditions, directly addressing this concern with park management to understand their plans for repair and upkeep, and obtaining clear documentation on all policies and fees. Understanding the Indiana Mobile Home Landlord-Tenant Act is also advisable, as it outlines the rights and responsibilities of residents within manufactured home communities.

Ultimately, Meadowview Mobile Home Park presents an opportunity for affordable homeownership in a desirable Valparaiso location. For those who prioritize this affordability and the benefits of a community setting, and are prepared to navigate potential challenges related to the park's infrastructure, it could be a viable housing solution. However, it is imperative to go into this decision fully informed, weighing the benefits of affordability and location against the specific and serious concerns raised by current residents regarding the road conditions, to determine if it aligns with one's housing needs and expectations.

Roads are so bad inside the park and as you are pulling into the park. The put holes are so big you can build a 5 bedroom home. I'm not even joking

This trailer park has very bad potholes everywhere and they have tried to fix them multiple times but they don't ever get the right people. The driveways are all very bad and more than half of them only have dirt as the driveways which makes it a very muddy spot to park. There is a vehicle limit and there are no pets allowed. They also charge you $60 when they have to mow your lawn and they tack it onto your rent which is about $830 every month. They don't really give you a chance to mow your own lawn they just do it once you grass gets about 1-2 inches. If you have a problem with your mobile home and you let them know they either just don't do it or they wait until last minute. We have had to call about 3-4 times for an electricity problem in our trailer before they actually came to do it. The mobile homes have multiple spots that need new trailer homes and they are empty and haven't gotten new mobile homes for those spots in about 2 years. The mobile homes are also usually very dirty on the outside when you move in and the floors inside are also sometimes not swept. The walls are mostly all made out of wallpaper and not actuall paint. The walls are also very fragile and if you barely even lean on them they feel like they are going to collapse. A problem that was wrong with our home was most of the trimmings on the walls were not there and there were nails sticking out of where they are supposed to be. Also another problem was that some of the carpet wasn't even done yet. We also had yellow ceilings and walls from people before us that lived there and either smoked or vaped inside and the maintenance people didn't thoroughly clean them, and the bathtub was also yellow with nasty bacteria in it. All of the ceilings in the mobile homes are also popcorn ceilings and it comes off very easily even if you barely touch it. Dust bunnies also build up on the popcorn ceiling very very bad and very quick.

If i could put 0 stars i would! We have lived here with old owners and management meadowview mobile home park and since april 2018 the new ones.. Meadowview estates with Nichole Koth manager. I highly recommend no one to live in this park!! Especially if you have a family! We moved in in july 2017 after 3 weeks our trailer caught fire due to the neighbors negligence. I was high risk pregnant with our fourth child. The skirting didnt get fixed til november 2017 in which is state law to have and the siding just got fixed october 10th 2018.. In which our lease stated it was to be fixed immediately... They expect you to not violate and follow there demands of the lease but they do not.. We have had 5 managers.. Suzanne obrien.. Tina campbell.. Lois haskins.. Samantha carapia who is on top ten most wanted for theft of this park of peoples rent.. And now nichole koth whom never answers the phone and is always out of office.. The only good thing this park has is there maintenance men James and tim! When we moved in we had no fire extinguisher and one smoke detector.. James gave me the one out of his own place knowing we have 4 small children when he found out.. Months after i had asked management and stated on our checklist.. And they ran this park when we were without managers for months trying to keep people here takin care of. We have never received violations and never caused problems but the park just evicted us just because they said to the judge and didn't even follow state law protocol never gave us 10 or 30 day notice so we could of left before an eviction through court!! I cant explain the damage they have caused nor the headache for over a year we have went through!! Please from a concerned wife and mother of 4.. If you can go any where but here.... Go! If you need more details look me up and ill fill you in. This is not a place for anyone and the manager that runs it has no idea what she is doing thats why another manager from a different area has to help her and getting in contact with either one when you need to.. Is impossible! And the roads are still horrible. Been that way for years! Good luck to you and yours! Please consider our review! A lot of tenants are leaving because of similar problems! If i could save someone or a family from what we are going through right now with a 12 yr old 8 yr old 2 yr old and 1 yr old i will spread the word.

Office lady is beyond rude. Treated my family horrible and acted like my wife was a second class citizen or some one unworthy of her time. The outside crew is very polite and friendly though.
