We were excited to try out Andes tower! We were very fortunate to get a last minute spot over Fourth of July weekend. However, we were disappointed in the lack of celebration going on at the park. But we made the best of it. Cons: No swimming No shade on sites Frisbee golf not easy to get to Frisbee golf not realistic for children or not physically fit The grade of the land isn’t set up for proper drainage of rain. Sites become flooded. The sewer hookup is too high for proper drainage. The kayak launch is FAR. If you do not have appropriate gear to transport or drive it down, you are out of luck. Kayak launch not well taken care of. No on site help Only have a couple golf carts for rent so they were sold out.. Pros: Quiet. I mean QUIET. (Might be a con if you’re like my family) Great biking trails Availability Seasonal sites were very helpful and friendly Overall our experience was ok. This is a new park that I’m sure will have many tweaks along the way. Always room for improvement. We are hopeful and excited to see what they do with it.
Jul 08, 2024 · Tarin Schmidtnice big flat camp spots. all have electric, water and septic. wonderful trails!! very nice clean bathrooms with free showers!!! GREAT birding!
May 21, 2024 · David KlossWe were driving through the area for our roadtrip from NY to North Dakota (August 17th) and we decided to stay for one night at the Rustic Cabin. Jessah and Jack were beyond helpful! Communication was 10 stars. Jack was so kind to show us the cabin, given the time we arrived. Cabin does not have any electricity or water. But it was perfect for our stay, since we needed a break from the road. The cabin is right by Isaac Lake. There was a porta potty a few feet away from cabin. Equipped with two beds (you bring your own blankets). We were able to park our truck by the cabin. It has a outdoor grill and a picnic table. There was also a Coleman grill in the cabin. We would 100% stay again! Thank you so much for your hospitality. P.S. Bring lanterns, water, blankets, pillows, and food to grill for the full experience ☀️
