I have lived in this park for several years. I have found it to be quiet and close to everything in the center of Ocala. Yes, some of the mobile homes are older but many have been lovingly maintained. Not a bad place to live. It is still cheaper than renting an apartment in Ocala.
Dogwood Acre's is owned by Bedrock Communities, and they are a awful organization, they buy mobile home parks, and they do nothing to improve them they don't care about the homeowners (residents) I know because I lived in one of their communities. The parks they own may have an HOA association, but they still give the HOA board a very hard to to get anything done, they lie to the residents and they raise the rents and do nothing for the parks they own. Maintenance is pretty much non existent. They are the worst, beware stay away. They deserve ZERO Stars. Stay away from all Bedrock Communities, they are bad news.
This is an older community very Dated. Doesn't look like there into upgrading the community. Was looking for a winter home for parents.
Majority of the people are kind and nice one of the only amenities Dogwood Bedrock has is a pool it's full of weeds and ants we share a maintenance man with seven other parks they owned. Little to no communication between residence and management management hours of operation is posted but the manager goes to two different parks so she may be here or at the other Park
Very quiet and restful to live here. People living here are also very nice. Grounds are taken care of. The pool maintained perfectly! I have enjoyed these past few months living here. Lot rent is the cheapest around. A few ladies here are getting some activities going.
