Promotions or Special Offers

As a campground primarily managed by the U.S. Forest Service within the Ocala National Forest, Big Bass Campground generally operates on a standard fee structure rather than frequent promotional offers typical of private commercial campgrounds. The customer review stating "Couldn't beat the price either" reinforces this value.

While there might not be seasonal sales or "buy-one-get-one-free" offers, the consistent low pricing and the available federal pass discounts ensure that camping at Big Bass remains exceptionally budget-friendly for local users. As of 11/21/2024 this campground is temporarily closed. We arrived at the campground but the gate is closed. When we get the opportunity to stay, I will re-rate it.

Large level sites, mostly no pads. Ask about horse trail for hiking. Good water. Great host. Unfortunately amount of road noise, although road is not visible. I would use again for sure.
