Customer Reviews
I was very impressed by this wonderful place! It really felt like a home away from home! I made my reservation for a campsite about 2 1/2 months in advanced which made me forget to look into it some more. What it impressed me was the many amenities the ranch has to offer! It has a full kitchen to cook in and plenty of sitting space! Two full bathrooms, a laundry room, a pool, and wood for making a bonfire in the evenings, or you can join the one where everyone is welcome to sit around and converse. Oh, did I mention that the property is right next to Ocala National Park! So amazing! I really hope the ranch will always offer the availability to be able to camp. Pitching a tent always creates great memories for both kids and adults! Aaah, yes, there are horses there, and they got to practically be our roommates. The spot I picked was close to the stalls.
I love Black Horse Ranch!!!!!! Really amazing place to get out of town and explore. Awesome amenities including a pool, pavilion, kitchen, bathhouse and a clubhouse where we do yoga!!! The ranch is full of great people who build an incredible community. Horse trails and camp grounds really make it a well-rounded destination all year long!
We have been coming here for 5 years. We love it here. Always a friendly atmosphere. Great people great location to other attractions and close to the WEC center.
Wonderful campground. Friendly and helpful people. Access to the trails right outside your door. Miles of riding. Nearby stores, fleamarkets, theaters, etc for days when you don't feel like riding. Swimming pool for hot days or just 1 hour from Florida beaches. Been coming here since it opened and have seen improvements each year.
Wow!! Black Horse Resort Ranch was so much more than I expected it to be! I attended a camp out retreat and the accommodations were perfection! It was so amazing to have fresh hot showers in clean air conditioned bathrooms after having fun swimming in the wonderful big pool! The horses had plenty of space to be and we were able to show them some love! The kitchen and dining area is spacious and has all your cooking needs! The property includes miles of lush green horse riding & hiking trails that are beautiful to wander around on and enjoy the serene quiet nature of the Ocala forest. There are plenty of camping tent spots and RV hookup spots so bring the whole family & friend gang with you! Danielle, the owner of the ranch is so sweet and accommodating to all of the guests and she displays such a genuine love and connection to the ranch and its guests following right in her mother’s footsteps. Definitely book a weekend at the Black Horse Resort Ranch, you won’t be disappointed and will leave with your next visit already in the books!
