For New York residents looking for a modern, amenity-rich camping experience that truly offers room to breathe, **Big Guys Campground** in Brockport, NY, sets a new standard. Situated on a sprawling 100-acre property—the former site of a country club—this destination has been meticulously developed to ensure that every camper, from RV enthusiasts with 'big rigs' to families seeking a rustic cabin retreat, enjoys unparalleled space and comfort.
The core philosophy of Big Guys Campground is right in the name: everything is bigger. This commitment means no "awning-to-awning" crowding; instead, RV sites boast a minimum of 3,000 square feet, providing the privacy and peace New York campers often crave. This unique approach, combined with a host of impressive modern amenities, positions Big Guys as one of the premier family-friendly camping destinations in the Western New York and Finger Lakes region. The campground successfully blends the natural beauty of the area with resort-style conveniences, making it an ideal base camp for local exploration or simply a fun, activity-filled weekend getaway close to home.
Big Guys Campground enjoys a strategic and highly accessible location for local New York campers. It is located at **3739 County Line Rd, Brockport, NY 14420, USA**.
This address places the campground near the intersection of Monroe and Orleans Counties, just west of Rochester and close to the renowned Erie Canal path. Its proximity to major thoroughfares makes it an easy drive for residents of Buffalo, Rochester, and the surrounding Finger Lakes communities.
The location offers the best of both worlds: a tranquil, rural setting for relaxation while maintaining convenient access to local attractions and essential services. The nearby village of Brockport provides easy access to local shops and restaurants, and the campground serves as an excellent staging point for day trips to regional landmarks. For instance, the historic Erie Canal path and boat launch are located just a quarter-mile away, offering immediate outdoor activity, while the popular Hamlin Beach State Park on the shores of Lake Ontario is just an 11-mile drive. This blend of seclusion and connectivity makes Big Guys Campground a practical choice for a local New York escape.
Big Guys Campground is designed as a full-service, modern facility, providing a wide array of amenities that cater to comfort, convenience, and fun for all ages.

First timers here. Kids loved it. Wife wants to go camping more now. What's not to love? My only complaint is that our site shared the water line with the neighbor rather than a dedicated line for our site. Water pressure was so low when the larger camper nextdoor had lines open too. Will camp here again, might pick a different site to try out the water situation again. I didn't see alot of sites there that shared water lines so that's a plus.
Jul 10, 2025 · J MathI had a really great time at Big Guys Campground. They went out of their way to make me feel very comfortable and welcome. I definitely would go back in the sites are huge. There's a lot to do.
Jul 16, 2025 · Linda FordSo I am a firm believer in a honest review.. Big Guys is a nice campground.. the sites are nice size and for the most part the walkability is decent I seen where some ppl think it’s to big to walk and it may be the case for some they offer go cart rentals.. they have a ton of seasonals.. but it looks like for the most part they have a code they need to keep up with since it don’t look run down.. they warn you about water pressure and they sell regulators in there store which has a variety of items at prices u expect.. the Back Porch tavern had good food and the prices were fair..tall mixed drinks were 8$ each not bad but still steep..the first one we had each didn’t have much alcohol in it so we made it known on the 2nd which was way better..a lot for kids to do decent playground.. pool that was clean and the area was well kept.. and the jump pillow was a hit I wanted to jump but at almost 50 I may of gotten a few crazy looks lol.. Saturday they had a western theme which unfortunately had to be adjusted so to the rain.. we played bingo which was as to be expected..they had a singer and for someone who loves country music he wasn’t for me..but that’s just my opinion..being 2 hrs20 mins away I am unsure if I would go back only do to the fact nothing to do in the area really.. we went for 4 days.
Jun 01, 2025 · Carol EmmonsBig Guys is a great up and coming campground. We have a pop up so utilized a tent site with power - plenty of space to put the camper in and set up. The pool is beautiful, the playground is good quality with a side of farmer flare.. my 9 year old loved the pillow bounce pad, we all enjoyed the various activities (bingo, crafts, water ears, disc golf etc). The camp store had all the right things including Byrne dairy ice cream sandwiches a gourmet dog treats! A total bonus is the 585 Tavern in the same grounds for delicious good!
Aug 06, 2024 · Rebecca BeyerleinGreat park .. Pool is awesome & clean with chairs etc . Bathrooms are well kept. Owners are great to deal with . Back Porch 585 Tavern has great food .(Don't Know if Related) Anyways , this is one of our favorite parks to camp . The Barn is great for kids with a game room and large movie area . Teens would also love the Barn . Small workout area , Equipment needs some upkeep . but for a quick workout it will do . Only thing .please put in a Basketball and or pickle ball court .. Other than that 5 Stars
