The neighbors are wonderful. But you will be constantly depressed at how the management treats the neighborhood and it's residents. They built a BRAND NEW pool two years ago and now management doesn't even maintain it, to the point where you can't even swim there. The pool has never once been clean this season, it's constantly cloudy, you can't even see the bottom and then the other day I went and it was completely green with algae growing on the steps. Management says "it's just cloudy because it's got so many people swimming in it". This response is pretty much on par with literally anything you need from them. They will gaslight you, ignore you, be obscenely rude to you. They will do ANYTHING but actually address any problem. They send tow trucks at random to tow anyone and everyone's car. Our neighbor parked his truck at the end of his driveway just so he could clean out his garage and while he went into get something from the house, they towed his car. They won't pick up trash from the park so when you take your kids to the park you have to pick up trash yourself. There's now several broken fire hydrants around the neighborhood that they won't fix, they just stick ugly black trash bags over them. Several neighbors have told me that if a pipe bursts in your yard (which is part of the basic infrastructure of the neighborhood) they will demand you pay for it even though you RENT the lot from THEM! It's sad, because it's an affordable way to stay near Austin and the neighbors are amazing, the community of people itself are very pleasant. You just have to deal with being treated like trash by the management always. They change management constantly, but somehow every person who comes in is either just as horrible or like now, even worse because they somehow cannot maintain the ONE amenity our community has which is the brand new pool.
I've been living at this community for the past 5 years. There has been many changes with office and maintenance staff. However, this is truly the first time that this property feels like a community. Sophia and her team have made a tremendous difference bring her team and us together. You can clearly see the attempts that are being made with the events and communication. We will be renewing for sure.
I have been living in boulder ridge for a couple of years now. It has been good living here. Since the new manager Sophia has came in, it has been amazing! There has been a lot of changes, the community looks cleaner, no complaints.
This is an ideal community for starting a family and for those purchasing their first home. Boulder Ridge is in area of Pflugerville, where there are great schools, and located close to many shopping venues and restaurants. The community is well kept from the more mature side of the subdivision to the newer side as well. I love the new amenities for families. The pools are comparable to any upscale community pool, and the fitness center is excellent to meet your workouts. What I really like is that most of the neighbors seem to get along very well. I also believe that it is a safe place to raise a family . Hats off to Sophia, Sheyla and Michelle as well , and to all the office staff that make visits to the office pleasant. They are very helpful and friendly. 😊
