We stayed here for the first time over the weekend. Location was great! The entire place was clean and staff was amazing and super friendly! The site was big and perfect to fit both tent and a large canopy. We loved the beach area and having a dog beach was key, as not many places do and the dogs loved it. It was the perfect place to spend the weekend with our friends and family. We will def be back!!
Aug 20, 2025 · ChrissyWe used to be seasonal here before we bought our own campground. We tried to incorporate many of the things we enjoyed there in our endeavor here. After 12 years, we returned for a vacation at Brialee and was not disappointed. They continue to grow and add services for their guest. Beautiful community buildings and the cabins were awesome. The staff was helpful and attentive. Great job Brian and staff.
Jul 16, 2025 · Kim MichalikWe camped here for 1 month. Sun. - Thur., 4-star experience. Fri. & Sat... 1 star. Avoid camping near sites 7&9, these are Full-time Campers who arrive on the weekend and use the beautiful Bar/covered patio between their campers. VERY LOUD music begins around 3pm and goes until 11pm+. I called security Multiple times during our stay. Once at 9:30 pm after being Frustrated all day I requested sites 7&9 turn their music down to a "reasonable" volume. I was told quite time does not start until 11pm, nothing could be done until then!?! I got out of bed and called at 11:35pm to request for music to be shut down. No one answered, voice-mail was full! Even the carts that drive around play music so loud it interrupted me hearing my TV (indoors w windows shut) at 10:00 at night - out of control. There are great activities for all ages. If the Many Campers who show up each weekend were even a little more respectful of those who aren't looking for a blowout block party weekend, this would be a Great camp.
Jul 05, 2025 · Michael ShafferWe go to this campground every year. This year we visited on July 4th weekend. The activities were amazing ( as always). The amenities are outstanding between the beach, lake, pool, etc. The office staff are always so nice and accommodating. This year when we arrived someone had been put in our site by mistake. Melissa, the manager, didn't hesitate to give us a partial refund for our trouble which was fantastic. My only complaint is I wish tents had their own dedicated area. I don't like that you can have a tent site next to your RV site. I also wish there was WiFi. There is no WiFi service which makes communicating with family a little difficult. I will continue to come to this campground every year. One of the best in CT.
Jul 21, 2025 · Helen CruzI usually do not write reviews but I feel that this time I had too, I stayed with my family for 10 days and overall the place and staff are great the areas well kept but as a person with a medical condition I was a bit disappointed because when I saw many families riding there electric scooters and bikes I thought what a great idea so I ordered a $400 one so that I can enjoy and easily go to the bath room , due to my medical condition it was very hard to go to the bath room with all the rocks and on the walk way . Unfortunately I had to leave the unit in the box and return it. I was instructed that they are not allowed in the campground , but yet saw so many . I just don’t think it’s fair that I could not enjoy my stay as I would have like to . If it’s a policy it needs to be inforced so that everyone follows the rules of the campground. I really hope to visit again next year because I did like the place but this was a major issue for me that I couldn’t ride my electric scooter.
