We camped for one night here on our way from ME to Alabama. This is a great camp with woods and pond. Lot was level and plenty long enough. Has a family feel to it. Staff was great. The only downsides are you have to pay cash and no sewage. I would recommend this campground. We were able to reserve without paying upfront. It was very quiet and peaceful.
Jun 18, 2025 · BETH CONDITThis place is hard to navigate, but the tent site was flat and there was a portapotty directly across (thank goodness, I never did find the bath house). We arrived separately, and my traveling companion arrived to get a map they charged him again! I had already paid for our 2 adults. It was loud, but things quieted down at a reasonable hour. A bit pricey (especially since we paid twice) for what we got. Cash only- and hard to make a reservation.
Aug 12, 2025 · Maria NardiI called and specifically stated to the manager that I was looking for a QUIET campsite. I explained that I was very sensitive to noise and he assured me the tent site was quiet. When I got there, set up, and started to try to sleep as it got dark, I noticed the terrible noise of a major Interstate highway that I failed to notice was 2200 yards away from the pond! (It is no lake, and it sure is not wilderness) They did refund my $45, but having to pack up and leave and not having a place to stay that night was a major hassle. I can't sleep with that screaming truck tire sound overpowering the nice sounds of nature, and basically, the guy lied to me, otherwise I wouldn't have gone there. Interstate 84 has a lot of 18 wheelers all night long. Some people can sleep with that noise, I cannot, and I did make it clear to him over the phone that QUIET was the number one priority for me.
Sep 20, 2025 · Sean DonovanReally only 1 star! This post is for people traveling for work!! If you're already living good and easy.... this place is for you!! HOWEVER....If you've struggled in this economy and you're looking for a place to work with you, DON'T COME HERE!! YOU WILL BE DISRESPECTED AND TALKED DOWN TO!! This owner is why Northerners have a bad name! Definitely no "Southern hospitality" around these parts!! The man wouldn't even speak to me (a woman) he only wanted to disrespect my husband, after disrespecting me the 1st day there. The text messages and recorded phone calls tell a story of who Doug really is! And it's not a nice person! Even was told by others in the park that no one likes him, they only deal with his staff because he's so arrogant and narcissistic!! However..... the place is beautiful and well maintained! The staff is wonderful!
Sep 09, 2025 · Regina SellersWe spent four days here and the service was excellent very friendly very helpful. Our site was nice. The grounds are kept very good. The bathrooms are clean every time I’ve gone to it. The showers are clean. The Wi-Fi is in and out, but that’s OK. The lake and the beach area is beautiful. Very relaxing very peaceful. I would recommend it.
