We had such a good time! Make sure to call and check water levels first. We did tubing. Come prepared and you’ll have so much fun! The less stuff you tote with you the more fun you will have. We just had a small purse sized cooler on the tube with us, water proof box, and water shoes. I saw people doing it barefoot but I’d highly suggest wearing water shoes. The lady who answers the phone and works the front desk area was so nice and helpful.

The water was low, lots of debris but thats part of tubing! We had a lot of fun! The one thing I can complain about is that this part of the river did not have sand bars, its all rocks. Couldn't really stop and enjoy any banks. The 2 hour float is too short!

We went tubing with 6 adults and 3 children. From the second we were standing in line we knew this place was unorganized. We got there around 11:30. They ran out of tubes with handles before we even got to the window, which sucked but it is what it is. We paid for 2 cooler tubes and 9 black tubes. They call your name by group to load the bus, but random people were getting on the bus leaving no room for a few groups whose name had been called. My group (6 adults and 3 kids) was told to sit/stand on top of the coolers in the back. The back glass of the bus was missing so sand and dirt flew in our eyes and the exhaust heat was brutal. We were bouncing and sliding all over the back of the bus which would have been fun had we not had little ones with us. The ride was a little less than 10 minutes so that was good. Once we got to the water, people who didn't pay for cooler tubes took them leaving those of us that had paid, black tubes with string. The workers unloading the tubes did apologize and said that sort of thing happens a lot and that they aren't allowed to question who paid or not. All of our stuff kept falling through the strings forcing us to chase it down in the water. 5 of our 9 tubes had holes in them. 2 of those were almost completely deflated by the end forcing all 3 kids to share a tube or ride with an adult. There was lots of debris and trees in the water which was expected, but some was so bad it actually hurt some of the people floating near us. There were several people on the river in boats going way to fast near the people in tubes causing a lot of waves, forcing tubes into the trees on the sides, which they then ended up getting stuck, which made several parents start to panic. It was a mess. We did make the best of it but it was a hard day. We probably won't go back to this one even though this place is closer.

We reserved cabin 5 on Mother's day weekend just to try something different and close to home, and I must say, it was a lot better than I expected. Great experience and respectful people. I was having a flat at check-in and didn't even realize it. Conner went out of his way to help us fix the tire and make sure we were ok. I give him a big thumbs up 👍 The other campers were very respectful to each other's privacy and maintained a noise level that I was amazed it being so quiet. I've traveled and camped all over the US and I will guarantee you this, this is the most hospitable place you can take your family to and not have to worry about them. No loud music, people riding through and especially nobody intruding into your space or invading your privacy. Definitely would recommend it for you and your family. We will definitely be booking another trip..👍
